Gap Between News and Drop Down Menu

Sorry, but I am having trouble(again) with my frontpage/css/header. If you look at my site:

There is a large gap from the bottom of the dropdown menu to the top of the news there. I need to seal that gap I have been playing with everything from the .css file to the header.tpl/frontpage_main.tpl and am having no luck. I feel I am overthinking this. Any help would be appreciated.

You'll see a big space and it's above the news,

And heck, I can't even find the problem too...

Would it be the .css file?? Anyone else have any idea? Appreciate the help.

Oh I see it now. Can we see your frontpage_main.tpl and your news file?

It's because you're using a table... stupid tables.

Just add vertical-align:top; to the css for that td.

Thanks Tom!!!!!! It was the td.body_content { sectionof my .css, where I had to add the vertical-align:top; part. Appreciate all the help guys.
