flyalaska Posted May 29, 2012 Report Posted May 29, 2012 Anyone else have issue with POSKY's 747-400 v4. When I taxi and need to turn the wheel, it wont turn. The wheel turns but the plane slides. Anyone know of a fix for this? 1 Quote
Moderators Kyle Posted May 29, 2012 Moderators Report Posted May 29, 2012 What Flight Sim you using? Quote
Moderators Kyle Posted May 30, 2012 Moderators Report Posted May 30, 2012 How does your plane slide? I never had that kind of issue before. I usally turn slow when I taxi. Quote
flyalaska Posted May 30, 2012 Author Report Posted May 30, 2012 I turn slow too. Seems an issue with POSKY v4 on the 747-400. You turn the wheel, the plane still goes forward. Quote
Moderators Kyle Posted May 30, 2012 Moderators Report Posted May 30, 2012 Yep, I had that issue. The only way is to slove it is to turn slowly... unfortunately. Quote
flyalaska Posted May 30, 2012 Author Report Posted May 30, 2012 Nothing to do with the speed I am doing. I was under 5KIAS and it still slides. Quote
freshJet Posted May 30, 2012 Report Posted May 30, 2012 You can fix it. It's in the aircraft.cfg somewhere - have a look Quote
flyalaska Posted May 30, 2012 Author Report Posted May 30, 2012 Didn't POSKY release a fix for this? No they didn't. I found one on flightsim, that fixed the problem. Quote
hollinst Posted July 11, 2012 Report Posted July 11, 2012 No they didn't. I found one on flightsim, that fixed the problem. Not sure if you are still looking for a fix to this, but in the aircraft.cfg for it they messed up on this line under [Flight Tuning]: "rudder_effectiveness" It needs to say "rudder_effectiveness=1.000" or rudder_effectiveness=1.250" 1 Quote
