clawsonsa
Folks, Was just informed that my web site was shut down due to the host saying that I was using to much resources. here is a line from the error log: [15-Jul-2012 13:06:19] PHP Warning: strpos() [<a href='function.strpos'>function.strpos</a>]: Empty delimiter in /home6/flyvtwac/public_html/core/common/PilotData.class.php on line 191 There is just days and days of the same error message. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated! Scott
Moderators Kyle Posted July 18, 2012 Moderators Report Share Posted July 18, 2012 The main question here... who's your host? it sounds like your host is not handling phpVMS well. The error is trying to say that there's something empty in the strpos function. that would be the pilot ID and the code.
clawsonsa
Bluehost com Any thoughts on how to fix it?
Moderators Kyle Posted July 18, 2012 Moderators Report Share Posted July 18, 2012 When you installed phpVMS, did everything go okay, no errors at all?
clawsonsa
I purchased the VA already set up!
Moderators Kyle Posted July 18, 2012 Moderators Report Share Posted July 18, 2012 Okay, does your pilot code parse properly? example would be PCA1001

Moderators Kyle Posted July 18, 2012 Moderators Report Share Posted July 18, 2012 What did your host say on what is causing too much resouces? anything that helps us to solve.
Moderators mark1million Posted July 18, 2012 Moderators Report Share Posted July 18, 2012 Personally speaking i would back up your database and do a fresh install, if you say you took over already installed anything could be wrong with your files. Moderators Kyle Posted July 18, 2012 Moderators Report Share Posted July 18, 2012 Pretty much, because the last owner may not installed it properly.
clawsonsa
Where is the database and how do you back it up? Also, the VA was a custom built site, will I lose all of the modules and such?
RogerB
I was with Blue Host for a couple years, I'll never go back. My Site was down sometimes on a daily bases and they acted like they could give a shite..They probably have 100 other sites on the same server you're on and it's over loaded.... If you want less aggravation leave them..
clawsonsa
Removed a module from the front page. That was the culprit. Bluehost was very helpful and worked well with me. Still don't understand how the programs tie into each other nor where the database is. Issue resolved
