Vlad781
Hello everyone, I have this strong urge to start my own virtual airline. As of right now, I don't have anything started, but that is for a reason. Before I start, I want to make sure I've got some support and that my time isn't just being wasted. My question is, would anyone here be interested in working with me to start this VA? I would be looking for 1-2 Co-Manager(s), 1-2 Livery Painter(s), and 1-2 Programmers. I also do not want to release any information as of right now on what I do have done, due to copyright issues. Thanks guys/gals, hopefully we can get this show in the air soon. nomansland
Hmmm... so am I. I was planning to start a virtual airline based out of Oakland airport in the San Francisco Bay area in California. I was thinking of calling it Jet America, named after the company that went bankrupt a few years back. I'll offer that we co-run it.
nomansland
Hey so am I! I'm planning to start a virtual airline called Jet America, to be initially based at Oakland International Airport in the San Francisco Bay Area in California. I was planning to start by operating the 737-900 jet(s). To start I was planning to operate flights up and down the west coast plus to Florida, Mexico, the Northeast and Hawaii. Perhaps if you want we can co-run it.

Vlad781
I'll give you two days to reply a yes or no (from June 19 till June 21) Hey there, I apologize. I've been busy with work lately. And I've decided rather than running a VA by myself, I would just start small, and create a server community in which pilots and atc would join in to simulate a realistic flying environment. As time went on I was hoping to get a VA started. However I would gladly still like to help out. if you take a look at my site (http://lavirtualskies.x10.mx/) (ITS NOT DONE) I have a communities tab. If you want we can make your VA a community within the Los Angeles Virtual Skies server. This will give people a greater incentive to join both your VA and my Server. How does that kind of partnership work? The only problem right now I see is that you are based in San Francisco. Do you think you can have the HUB be KLAX? If not, I would be OK with it in San Francisco.
nomansland
Oh okay, is it like a much smaller version of vatsim?
Vlad781
Oh okay, is it like a much smaller version of vatsim? Hey there, yes I guess you can say that. Except vatsim does not put the pilots in a giant FSX server. Meaning you can't see other vatsim pilots flying. This will make sure that the traffic generated is real. mseiwald
Jap. Actually you can see all other pilots on VATSIM regardless if they fly on FSX, FS9 or X-Plane!
BaRBeR
I'll give you two days to reply a yes or no (from June 19 till June 21) And also, giving someone 2 days to reply is a bit disrespectful, something may have happened or may have been busy. Real life comes first.
