  1. I would like to thank everyone who has used and found my design useful. If you are interested in a paid service of mine, if you are a current user of the CCV1 skin I will guarantee a 20% discount on any of my web design services. Drop me an email at admin@chasemorgan.co to begin a quote. Cheers!

  2. That is an option but then again, we would be using smartCARS so we are limited with that.

Thanks though - Still an option.

Yeah smartcars is a great starting acars, but its very limiting as its a stock product. Here is one thing you should consider. How many pilots do you have, how many are playing consistantly, how how worth the money will the service be for the activity of the pilots?

  3. i am having an issue installing this and I can not figure it out, can you please help me. I have included a picture below so you can see what I mean,

    Thanks!

That is because you are hsing a different version of PHPVMS then the skin was made for. Change all the skin file extentions from .php to .tpl

  4. Dude, please listen.

I have a CTO (Chief Tech Officer) that makes my site. He uploaded that to my site, and he said that he made the skin.

    I did not know.....

I'll talk to him. I'm really not a cheat.....

Dikembe Williams has been caught over 15 times now stealing from various website. Yeah I keep a tally. I would recommend dumping him dude before you get sued.

  5. I am using http://www.codecademy.com to teach me how to use HTML and CSS. Try it! I've gotten better already.

While CodeAcademy is a decent free introduction for beginners, I tend to steer people clear from it as when I used it a while back when I was first beginning my career in web development, I felt it gave me a false sense of my knowledge. It leaves HUGE gaps unfilled, and you earn badges that allow you to think you have made a lot of substantial progress when really you are just scratching the surface. For people more serious in web development, in my opinion it is invaluable to get a real-world education or course. Its funny you post this tonight, earlier today I wrote an article on Facebook regarding how I learned web development and how I suggest others get into it. Below is the article.

I get asked this question on a weekly basis, "How do I learn to code?" Because the web field is so broad, there is no simple answer to this question. First you have to decide what you plan to do with you skills. Do you want to design a personal website? Or maybe a blog, or a software to manage your employees. Regardless of the interest, I strongly reccommend you learn the basics of HTML and CSS. Both of these languages will pop up during your coding career regardless what area, and its important to understand the basic syntax.

How you learn is specific to who is learning, but NOTHING replaces learning in real-time with an instructor. This may be through higher education, a course you take at a community college, or a coding group like CodingDojo. It is simply easier to be with other like minded people to answer specific questions when they come up.

I did not have a role model when I was learning to code and I picked up really bad habits. In the past 3 months I have had to teach myself HTML and CSS all over again, because I skipped so many essential parts because I learned by going through google and youtube for everything. BAD IDEA.mBy doing this you will have far more gaps in your knowledge and younwill quickly become frusterated. I reccommend Rob Percival's Complete Web Developer Course available on UDEMY as a general overview of HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, API, JQUERY. I did find it a tad misleading as he said you can go out and be a web developer after the course. If you want to be any developer of ethics, I highly do not reccomend this. There are still too many gaps in your knowledge that you need to know. For one, you don't get a strong enough foundation of how to properly use plugins to build responsive websites, and to build a simple dropdown bar.

The course is also normally $199, however it does come with a year of web hosting and a 30 day money back guarantee for any reason. Is it worth your time to check out? Yeah, but I personally don't think its worth $199 for the low amount of detail discussed on each concept.

To wrap this extravagent post up, don't rely on one source to gain your knowledge and also don't hop around between languages. There is too much to learn, and you need to cover the basics before expanding with different fields.

  6. Clearly English is not his first language.

    Not sure yours is either.

    As for the OP:

    1. Do you mean that you wish to prevent more than a certain number of bookings for an event?

    2. From what I understand, you want to email the pilot that he is retired after 31 days. This is native to phpVMS, you can edit the number of days a pilot must be inactive to be retired in your core/local.config.php file.

I didn't say his English was wrong I simply asked to clarify what module/addon etc. he is talking about. I live in San Framcisco, English is my first language! :P

  7. 1.

I do not want that PHP will continue to own more hours to the event ..

I mean, if I did that the event will be until 20:00 z then I want it to really be until

I put each time a pilot makes this book adds a few more that I did in Slot Interval love to know how I remove it ??

The intention is that if I did have Slot Limit: 61 so it will not be the 61 pilots also do book ..

    2.

I want to do after a certain time, for example after 31 days if the pilot did not fly then it will send him an email and tell him he RETIRE and if I really want it put him in this situation because at the moment I put it to the pilots so it's not really doing anything ...

I mean, if I manually someone so he can still fly to login I have not seen anything he can not do so this is I wanted to ask whether it can be done but really it does not allow him to fly or be active on the site. .

As if he can just login to the site then it will record that he can not connect because of its user currently retire before he would send an email or something like that ...

So thank you very much for helping!

Can you explain what your talking about?

  8. Who said they didn't have permission?

Did you even read my post? If you did then you wouldn't have asked that question. I didn't say that they didn't have permission nor do I care. You said if they make the website look similar they will get in trouble, but maybe they have permission to do so.

  9. well the reason i have copyrights to Etihad as i know someone in the eithad Legal team over in Abu Dhabi to fight with me as well so would no if i held something or not ok guys once i have my domain then il start it but im building something at the moment at home so its at a stop but it will carry on i know that i will not end up in court for no reason

Excuse my stalking * hehehehe * but from what I can tell you live in Lowton, England. Kudos to you that you know someone who lives in Abu Dhabi well enough to get legal permission to use the trademarks of a large airline. :P

  10. I do not usually get involved with these things but I find that just scrapping this project when it has full rights and access to the branding of Ethiad kind of foolish. Michael, this is too good of an opportunity to let pass in my opinion, you will unlikely get another chance like this.

Give this man a cookie, because someone has faith! :P
