What are hours measured in? (Tenths of an hour or hour/min.) According to the PIREPS, it says to file it as hour/min., but one of my pilots has 173.87 hours.

I'm not sure. vaBase said that it's possible, but I don't think it's worth paying the money, when it can't be much better (or even better at all) than phpVMS.

Okay, I've had this question, but never thought on asking it. Is there a way to not have a schedule database be attached to PIREPS? (or is it absolutely necessary?)

Yes, it was IE7. It sometimes works and doesn't. I told him to try Firefox, and he had no problems, so problem solved.

Okay, you know I said before that pilots have troubles logging in? (cookies issue) Well, one of my pilots is experiencing something weird. He can login and his settings are at what they should be, but sometimes he has troubles logging in. Nothing is wrong with me, though. Any solutions?

Okay, my COO changed the background of the sigs and I changed the text color (to black) in the local.config.php and we reset the images, but no change.

I think he checked those as well, but what would be the case if his cookies were enabled. (I am thinking hr did not checked, though. I tried different settings in Firefox for me to figure out this problem, and that is the only way things didn't work.)

Here is his problem: "I am able to log in. I'm taken to the home page. At the top of the page I see the following tabs: Home login register pilots live map. On the right side of the page is a list of Resent Reports and New Pilots." He is using Firefox and also did the things above.

yeah, I guess a splash page would be it. I know it's index.php before index.html (I tried that a while ago). Would I be able to move my files into a folder now without screwing things up?

I have a question to do with my site. I was wondering which way would be most efficient to have a "front page" like Dave's at Eastern Virtual? I don't mean his layout (which is nice) but rather having a page before the index.php. (Just like an enter page)

With javascript off, yes, I saw that, so I'm thinking it's the cookies issue, because I messed around with Firefox and you can't login with cookies disabled.

I better ask him, but I'll check his js settings. I also told him to enable cookies, because I have a problem like his with cookies disabled.

Okay, now there is a problem. Even though IE is a problem, the guy who is having the problem which made me bring this up is using Firefox. I am using it, though, and there is not problem at all.

I created a John Doe (test account, which would make it like any other pilot) to test out problems. One of my pilots was experiencing problems. This is what happened: He registered and everything, but he says when he logs in he doesn't see the 'Pilot Center' tab. I tried it out, and it's not a site issue, because everything is okay on Firefox. On IE, though, I tried it out, but when I login, it goes back to the home page and it seems that I didn't login. It's very weird, but for now I'll just tell people not to use IE if they have issues.
