  1. You don't necessarily have to import them manually edmundk. If you can find a source you could use PHP to fetch the route.

I know that haha. But if you don't know how to do that, manually would be your best bet!

He could just be trying to copy them from one of his own sites to another.

Also I don't think there will be any steel data ;)

However yes, you can export schedules from one site and import them to the other.

Alright, i must have read it wrong. :)

  2. It's not necessarily that I don't think people can't run their own VA's, it's about making them look more professional for those who want it. It isn't about throwing stuff in the menu bar, it's about organizing it properly so everything looks neat. It's about professionalism. When people see a website that doesn't look good they run for cover and don't even give it a chance. What I offer is a way to fix that by consulting with the client to give them advice on how to make their website look more professional and guiding them on what sort of content most users look for. Professionalism is key in this day and age. Without it, most VA's won't attract pilots.

Anyone can make a VA. The question is, can they make it look good?

What drives people away is poor website design and appeal. You do have a point there. Professionalism is the key to success, but that can be easy to achieve. I would suggest adding and or taking away some services that is easy to create your self. What i really would like to see gone would be the Menu Bar Placement, but it's your company so i won't tell you how to run it.

  3. By posting in this forum it usually means they want feedback on their website. Otherwise why post here? I mean were all VA owners so we usually don't join other virtual airlines. I think it would look a lot better with out that fuzzy mountain. That background is just plain disgusting for this website, way too blurry and would probably keep pilots away from your website.

  4. Okay why can't this forum be more professional and not into people business. Why do you care if I have permission or not that's none if your business, all I asked for is some feedback not so I can be asked "Do you have permission" next time when you are watching a movie and you hear a song, email or call the director asking if he has permission. Would you do that? My point is that give what people ask for, if they want feedback give them feedback. Not asking them questions about permission. Thanks

That was my feedback. Oh and about why were asking if you have permission, we don't want to see you get shut down after you put hours and hours of hard work into the virtual airline. So in a way you could say we care. Catching on?? Oh and about the director, if he didn't have permission he would get busted in a day :).

  5. Sure you called them? When they shut you down, they will be asking for PROOF. You don't have any so in that case you would be screwed. You need to make sure you have written permission from their legal department. Also if i'm correct i believe I've seen you post about other airlines that you wanted to open. You gotta choose one, who cares what we think, pick one that you want to do. Also for your title we'are all expecting you to have a website because we think it's a new airline that is opening with a website and all. Next time (Hopefully wont have one) you should put "Your Thoughts On Blah Blah Airlines" in the title. Anyway, Good Luck!
