In your FTP, open the /phpvms/ directory, select everything and move it into your /public_html/ directory (main root folder). You'll need to update your local.config.php to account for the new site URL.

Not sure what version we're on. Is it worth me upgrading to latest beta now or waiting for next stable? And the only other thing we have is phpbb, but is separate and remained untouched through these events. We at first suspected someone who knew his password, but after everything was changed and the editing continued it was clearly not.

Yes, thankfully I took a backup just before Christmas and they didn't think to remove our database. Back online in minutes.

Is the VMS secure against SQL injection? It's just happened again. Thing is, I'm logging IP's and the files they access, and it's clearly coming from his IP but I'm speaking to him and he's busy programming.

Yes, the email has been changed to stupid things "hacked@hotmail" and so on, and a false PIREP was files for 100000 hours. Clearly they didn't have enough knowledge to accept the PIREP though.

Earlier on today our web hosting was totally wiped of files after someone got access to the password of the other user on the FTP. After restoring a backup and changing every password, the phpvms profile of that person keeps being accessed and edited, even after password being changed every time, and being changed to something absolutely nobody knows.

Ok I'm doing that and the hash which is returned does not match the hash for my password in the database.

How are the password and salt etc used? We're making an app for our VA and we want to only allow registered users, so what do we need to do to the plain text password to match what's in the database?

I've had some form of experience working for him, you could say. A friend of mine (whom I was helping) wanted a website system coding and he took up the job. After we told him what we needed, a month later - nothing was done. We reminded him and he assured us it would not take long, and it's still not been completed to this day. He seems to continuously come up with excuses not to have it done. And the worse thing is he told us was on holiday and minutes later posted a release of some module on here. </rant> So in my opinion, you won't see either.

I thought I saw this but: Is there a way to change the editor used for editing pages in the admin panel? Whenever I want to use code using the Source view, I save it and it's all fine, but when I go back to edit it the editor converts it all into html ("?>" and the like) and it's reaaally annoying. Thanks

It's a modified template, but i didn't edit anything to do with that, and it was working before.. it's just suddenly not working now.
