If you plan on charging it probably won't be monthly - people will generally want you to make their site, put it on their hosting and edit the odd thing you (they) got wrong and be done with it, especially if it's a CMS because they can edit and post themselves. Wordpress or code it yourself. If you plan on taking this seriously I would purchase hosting with a proper domain and take the time to design your own theme.

    Skinning Question

Can you upload an example? I'll have a play with the CSS in Chrome and let you know.

ROFL ROFL omg lmao. Anyway, conor, it all depends on what your client needs. I expect for your first few you'll only need to build them static pages perhaps with the odd paypal button. Only if they actually need to regularly update it all would you use a cms - and make sure you change the admin panel theme too.
  4. Yes, and 5.2.13 < just checked. I was close.
  5. It was a fresh download of 2.0.854, maybe 2 weeks ago. Database check was all OK.
  6. Crystal template didn't work either, and they didn't have recaptcha. Link to finances: http://www.fstools.co.uk/vms/index.php/finances
  7. Using latest stable, with modified versions of templates from the core folder. When submitting the registration form it just takes me back to the form, no errors shown or anything, and the user isn't created. Oh also, while I'm here - how come the finances don't display a header/footer/style or anything, its just a plain old boring black and white text.
  8. Yes very nice, it looks less cramped now
  9. Much nicer than the previous design! A few things I'll comment on: There's not quite enough colour IMO, you could look into at least one other complimentary colour. Also you should increase the horizontal spacing between boxes to that of the vertical spacing... just to make it look a little bit more even. Other than that - very nice, keep up the good work
  10. Send an email instead/Add them on a messenger
  11. Big thanks from me! It's an excellent system - very fast and user friendly - and most important very fun and interesting to work with.
  12. Sent a PM quite a while ago with no reply... looks like he forgot he posted here.
  13. You aparently can't accept any more messages so I've sent an email Edit- which failed. Fancy clearing your PM inbox?
  14. Sorry if this has been discussed already, but I've been trying to change the date format to UK (d/m/Y) in the admin panel and it's still telling me the news I post is on the 3rd day of the 14th month... How can I fix this? Thanks.
  15. Looks like a great idea for people who are new to the whole skinning thing. I would still use header/footer myself as it seems to be that slight bit easier if you want to use columned layouts etc. Actually never mind. Didn't think about it properly. Looks fun.
  16. Looks like there may have been some errors when uploading the files. Try re-uploading.

    Skinning Service

Dan C Cutting your hair costs nothing if you own a pair of scissors, correct? Yet you still pay to have someone else do it... The whole point of this kind of service is to provide those with neither the time nor skill to do it themself. Kay "Cheers" Tom S PS @chikolol - good luck, looks like we'll be competing.. Just a note about that site you linked to - the footer should fade to transparent rather than a colour, especially when the colour of the background changes. On shorter pages it looks odd.

    Upload Button

Is the file you're uploading a jpg, pjpg (whatever that is) or a gif and under 20mb?
  19. I see the following error without even submitting:
  20. You can use things like javascript/css tabs or something to switch between content on a page, or you can just stick it all on the page. Simples.
  21. Well your lack of detail didn't help there.. So they're not showing in the system when you import, even though they're in the csv? Strange. You don't have to stick to those days though by the way, you can still fly a flight on Sunday if it isn't scheduled for Sunday.
  22. Really? Odd works for me. Well, open it up in notepad and add all the zeros.
  23. In Excel (or whatever you're using to edit), right click the column and format cells. Then select the Text option. Now you can just change the first to 0123456 and drag it down.. they should stay like that when you save.

You do not have to fly at those times, an admin has the choice to accept or deny the flight report. So if your airline chooses to stick to the times set then you can deny any reports that aren't flown at those times. Otherwise you can fly them whenever you want as long as your admins are happy to accept that.
