God I'm a bonehead. I figured the problem out. It was having to do with the rank that was set to allow the individual to be able to fly that type of aircraft. so there is another question please and sorry if it is tagged with this post but it is tied to it. We have been using Kacars for the past few years and unfortunately we lot the database for pilots flight hours and their rank structure. I know that through the acars we are allowed to transfer hours but somehow they do not add to the total which the rank is adjusted to. Is there away to adjust this rank and flight hrs without having to start over again. Wood

The pilots are logged into kACARs with the login id when they registered. As far as I can see after trying to log into as you indicated does not work. example: all pilots logins id's are as follows. there are for airlines: CV3= Virtual Carrier Wing Three (All members are assigned to this airline code) so example: login should be say CV30001. If the members tries to log into kacars with that reference (CV3) to their number then they can not login. If they take the CV3 off and just use 0001 then they can login. FRS=VFA-106 FRS SCC= charter which we don't use VT7= Training Squadron 7 I tried to login as each airline reference and the only ones that allow me to login as are FRS and SCC. However, even logging in with those two id's still does not let me view any flights in the schedule tab on Kacars. The only flights I see are the ones out of Meridian Nas for VFT. Those flights I can see when logged in with 0001, or FRS001 or SCC001 I hope I'm making sense here. Thanks again for your help Wood

Hi again Just setting this up again and came across this issue last night and I'm banging my head to figure out why it's just not working. First sorry if this is been posted before but I been searching for this issue and haven't come across anything. I've been setting up Flight schedules using two different airlines. With the first schedule of flights setup and complete for airline number 1 can be seen in both the flight schedule on the website and within the Kacars program when going to get flight info and bid. However airline number 2 is 50% finished with over 15 flights posted as on now. The issue is that Scheduled Flights for pilot bidding can be seen on the website and under view flight schedule, pilot briefing and pilots are able to bid the flights through the website. The issue I'm seeing right now is when pilots log onto the kACARS program and select the airline 2 at the airport it based out of ... nothing shows up and no flights are visible. Any suggestion on fixing this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you wood

Hey everyone Just getting back into this with the new phpVMS with our Kacars program. we have about 95% of it working as it should and working very good. However I ran into an issue with the weather resource links and chart links. Can anyone please pass on the new information so I can edit the appropriate files. Thanks in advance Wood

Due to the short falls of FSX and from time to time when FSX freezes and you end up with a CTD after a long flight. It would be nice if kACARS was able to auto save the flight from time to time to prevent this very frustrating event. Would be a nice addition.. Wood

We have the a new install for virtual carrier wing 3 (1.0.1.4) ever since we updated to have the fligh track record every 20 seconds we have had issues where the flight does not record properly for lomng flights. I know you were talking to one of our guys and it was indicated to change.. As quoted My question is what php am I looking for here so I can edit this? Wood

Has anyone seen this before and is there a solution.. We've had guys do a 21/2 hr flight from KNPA to KCRP only to be unable to file a report and have it recorded.

I'm trying to add KNGP into the airports list so I can make it as a hub but this is what I keep getting I have the scenery loaded in but not sure why it is not finding it. Also when ever I do a flight out of KCRP and go to stop the recording to file the pirep it tells me the aircraft has not landed yet...??? Have not a clue why that is. If you change the pilots hours in the database what do you have to reset to make it show the change? Thanks Wood

Ok sorry disregard I vfound that if you change the app.config.php then it causes the problem. Only changing the text color for the signature is completed on editing the local.config.php. All seems to be working ok for now.

Hi all After changing the signature and the text color I have noticed that it affected my viewing the pilot list in the admin side of things. Is there a way to fix this where I can repair the pilot list still having the new signature and colored text on the sig. I can't seem to access any of the pilots any longer if they need to be edited. Ok mattia Finally got it, thanks for all you help, now just got to find where i can drop the text down a liitle.

No problem your english is fine but now I'm confussed.. so there is no way to change the signature on the application at all and no way to change the font color. The problem that I'm refering to is that with all the flights that I record on this just does not show up on the signature as it should.. Notice the signature, there is no flight time or other info except for mey name.. Why would that be? Anyone please?

Hi again Mattia Looks like as soon as I edit those to files all hell breaks loose. I only edited the color of for the text and nothing but its causing so much grief. Also I noticed is that when I placed the new signature to replace the the old one my accumultive time and info does not show up for me when I log into the Blackbox kACARS application. Heres an example when I replaced it with the old signature. As far as I can tell is that another member does not have the problem of not seeing the accumulative info. My info shows on everthing else except for here. Any suggestions at all .

Hi Guy's I have been trying to change the profile log background from the default to accomodate our wing. however I can't seem to get the hours or information showing up. also I would like to change the font colour from black to gold or yellow.
