I will speak for myself in the following:
I was going to purchase this software but instead decided not to. This is not a question of trust or skill (as a matter of fact I can hardly call it a question). The fact that bits of the software runs on a third party platform, raises the risk of downtime and dissatisfaction from the users.
Don't get me wrong, this is a great software full of nice features and to be honest I find it a bit better that kAcars. However, I rather have that when I purchase this software I am given all the files to be able to run it without relying on any external provider. This would be an advantage for both, since you wont have to spend money on servers nor be responsible for any loss of data(Which I am aware occurred recently).

How do you have so many pilots so quickly? Where do you advertise?
They are just that good.
I helped them out with the website, and the staff over there is the most dedicated I have ever met. There is no doubt that this pilots are going to love the virtual airline. They had no advertising, Just a great structure.-

Hello,
I do appreciate your services especially offered at a low price, however I am a little shocked by the price of the banner. It is a simple picture copy and pasted from the internet then a layer of text added to it along with the airline logo. I don't think that is worth $2, that is a job that can take less than 2 minutes to do. I think a correct price for it is $0.75-$1.00.
I do not mean to insult your rate, but it just do not seem right.

Recently I have completed building a new virtual airline: skybluevirtual.com/en , but realized that I don't have as much time to invest in as I did previously, due to recent mass projects. Therefore I would like to offer the CEO title to one very dedicated person. Currently the virtual airline operates 5 variants of aircrafts with over 2600 schedules. The virtual airline's website is completely built along with 60% of the liveries created. Everything is setup, along with complete hosting, a custom acars system, facebook page, and a teamspeak server.
I am basically offering the ceo position which does include cPanel, but includes complete control of the operations, staffing, advertising, forum, etc...

I know this is an old post, but did anyone ever come out with a fix for this bug? I'm running version 2.1.934 and I'm noticing still that the form is only utilizing the last field (the distance search field) if I input information into the last field and then switch back to another field (i.e. equipment, a departure/arrival airport, etc.).
Really curious to see how someone finds a work-around for this issue.
Yup, I have that bug too. I also noticed it on a number of virtual airline. Would be great if someone fixed it

Personally i use Firefox, Dreamweaver and Photoshop. If someone can combine these programms into an IFE i would buy it. Obviously, it can't be done...
You are right it can not be done into an IFE, but does EVERYONE use Firefox, Dreamweaver and Photoshop? My point being everyone has their own uses for things.

I am not aware of how other IFE's are made, but I am aware that the one I make(DYNIFE) is completely Non-Copyrighted Media. NO FILES ARE STORED on the Virtual Airlines Server, therefore bandwidth will not be affected much. All movies/music are from a third party website, that is licensed and also allows other sites to use their media under certain conditions, that of which are all respected by DYNIFE.
Pilots are able to just browse the internet for entertainment, but that is only a little part of what DYNIFE does. The system I created is focused more on automated announcements, that gives realism. I am sure that the average pilot would rather go in a virtual airline that offers such feature for free, than purchase a payware addon like Fs-passengers.
Dynife is made for the virtual airlines that wants to offer more to a pilot, not only for entertainment but also for a step closer to realism.
The Module I offer is not at all high priced, but I agree that some others are. One of the reasons I created DYNIFE is due to the abnormal price that some offer it for. I decided to make one that offers more for less. I am a perfectionist, Therefore I spend hours getting a design right and perfect. For the price it is offered it is as I am offering it free.
i agree also its mostly a wast of money as like mentiont you probably will get in trouble for playing copyrighted material.
and for a longhaul flight i mostly do stuff arround the house like cleaning and stuff
Isn't Global One known for its IFE? Dont you guys play copyrighted materials(Like Casino Royale) from http://www.novamov.com a cloud sharing website making this copyrighted movie illegal to store in their server?
