  1. Our site is on PHPVMS 5.5.2 and I am also thinking of moving to a new host provider. The current provider (php-mods.eu) seems to have completely disappeared and I can no longer get answers to any of my questions now for months for stuff that is broken (sounds like the same issue here the OP mentioned)...very frustrating. A few questions: 1) Does anyone have a decent recommended PHPVMS host provider that they are using in North America? Our site performance has been absolute crap so I am hoping moving to a more regional server host will drastically improve performance. Also someone with familiarity / migration skills of a new provider would be extremely helpful. 2) As I believe the new PHPVMS7 runs in a new directory I should be able to migrate the 5.5.2 version to a new host provider and get that up and running again first, then in tandem build a new PHPVMS7 site on the same server is my assumption. Has anyone else done this / have some words of wisdom here? 3) Is there a good migration guide? I may have missed it here in the forums somewhere but trying to maintain our current pilots data is critical. 4) We are still using kAcars_Free V1.0.1.5 for our flight tracking / pirep submission. Will this integrate with PHPVMS7 or is there a newer / preferred Acars client that works better with version 7? 5) Our website is old / outdated an needs a refresh / design change. has anyone setup on a Wordpress site and integrated PHPVMS 7 with it? Appreciate any advice / guidance on the above. Cheers, Darryl
  2. Hi All, We have been running kAcars_Free V1.0.1.5 with our VA for some time now and it works as it should. However we have 1 pilot running Windows 11 that seems to have some sort of bug only on his machine and we have struggled to figure out where the issue is. Here are the synopsis of the error: When he starts up the program he clicks the Log In button and it connects to our VA normally. He has already bid on a flight in our system (BTW we are using PHPVMS 5.5.2) and then proceeds to press the Get Flight Bid Info button. When he presses the button he gets the following error per the attached screenshot. He can click OK to go past the error and fly his flight but when he tries to submit the pirep when completed it says he cannot file the pirep (I believe it shows up in red saying Try Again). Also another odd thing is he has to apply the Ignore Parking Brake / Airborne check in his user profile every time he uses kAcars (first it is not saving / remembering that he enabled that...and secondly no matter which aircraft he uses he has the same problem). He is running Windows 11 64 Bit, has .NET 3.5 and 4.X installed and has set the kAcars executable and shortcut to both "Run As Administrator". We have also tried to remove kAcars and reinstall and the same errors occur. We have other pilots also using Windows 11 without issue and can file pireps normally through the program and also do not have do disable the parking brake / airborne check. The problem appears to be isolated to this pilots computer and I am guessing some sort of registry error or security permission issue (or something to do with .NET) but not sure. Has anyone else come across this problem / have a fix? Cheers, Darryl
  3. Hi All, It appears that my host provider (Bluehost) recently tried to upgrade me to PHP version 5.6 which caused a bunch of problems. They have since put me back to PHP version 5.4.43. The site now seems to work but I am getting an error on the PHPVMS Dashboard page. The error as follows: Open Flash Chart JSON Parse Error [syntax Error] Error at character 0, line 1: 0: <br /> Has anyone seen this before and can you give me any guidance on how to repair this issue? Is this caused by a setting in the php.ini file maybe that was changed? The host provider says this is a script issue and forwarded me on some error message: America/Denver] PHP Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home4/canadid7/public_html/phpvms/admin/modules/Plugins/Plugins.php on line 59 [09-Jan-2016 03:40:45 America/Denver] PHP Strict Standards: Non-static method OFCharts::show_chart() should not be called statically in /home4/canadid7/public_html/phpvms/core/common/OFCharts.class.php on line 204 Appreciate any help you can provide. Best Regards, Darryl
  4. We had the same problem on Bluehost, PHP version 5.4. I was able to temporarily revert back to version 5.2. We also experienced many problems with the admin panel - trying to approve pireps, etc. At some point many people will be forced to update to 5.4 and above. Will there be a patched version of PHPVMS coming out in one package that will support version 5.4? If not we may need some assistance to manually figure out the errors. Cheers, Darryl
  5. We also recently had a lot of problems with this and many errors in multiple module files in regards to PHP 5.4. Our host had upgraded us to 5.4 but luckily we were able to temporarily revert back to 5.2 however it will only be for a short time as it is a forced upgrade due to security issues. I can see this is going to be a large problem for many VA's if they have similar issues or are using similar hosts. Do we know when PHPVMS will be fully patched for 5.4 and when we might see an upgrade available to replace existing files? Best Regards, Darryl Brambilla President & CEO Canadian Virtual Airlines
