the only thing I can suggest is letting you log in with my account because of the Captcha error which I have no idea how to fix. unfortunately the main site admin did not set the system for auto backups nor has he done a database backup since July. A lot of work as far as schedules has been done since then..not to mention PIREPS. Maybe I should be considering a move to Florida or Texas...none of my pilots would want to go there to find me for a lynching party. it seemed like such a simple thing...remove one hardly used aircraft from the fleet

There are no bids in the system..i am the only one who experimented with bids and that was some time ago. none of our schedules are tied to a particular aircraft - the pilots are allowed to chose whatever aircraft they want to use from the dropdown list in kacars. there were only a few reported flights that were reported using ANY as the aircraft. Today, I noted several of all reports highlighted and complaining of no aircraft assigned. I believe these were the reports using the ANY aircraft. I reassigned all these reports to a valid aircraft. still the unhandled exception error persists.

say for instance that a person (I) DID delete an aircraft and Did have pireps tied to that aircraft and DID mess up his PIREP data is there any way to undo what he (I) DID do? Also assume that the database admin (not I) DID NOT set his admin system to automatically backup his database.

There was an aircraft in our fleet called "ANY" I made a bad choice of removing it from the DATAbase directly. When trying to load a flight in kACARS free by inputting the flight number then clicking the Get Flight Information button, we seem to be getting an unhandled exception error in kACARS. How can this be repaired? thnx

Getting the following message on the Get Flight Number info block. This problem appeared suddenly last evening for no apparent reason "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt tp continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately. Input string was not in a correct format Details (Included in the .zip attachment JIT Debugging is not active - have no idea how to do that. exception.zip

Is there any way to have a charter flight (free flight) automatically produce pilot pay and revenue for the airline? I am thinking $25.00/passenger for pilot pay and 50% of the revenue that the airline would receive for the same scheduled flight would be fair. At the present time, the charter flight is being manipulated by admin during the PIREP acceptance stage. I fail to see why any pilot would make a flight and receive nothing in return or why any airline would allow one of its planes to be leased free of charge. Thanks in advance for any help

Thnx Parkho Had a look at this and the settings were already set as you showed. Maybe I didnt ask the right question; It should be The manual PIREP shows Fuel in Kgs. Thats what I want to change to lbs.

How difficult is it to change the measurement system from metric to Imperial? Is it even possible?

Before we built a few scheduled routes, I could file a PIREP just by filling in a PIREP form accessible from Pilot Operations section. All i had to do was input departure and arrival airports along with other data required. Now that we have built a few scheduled routes, it seems like that cannot be done anymore because the dep and arr airport fields will only allow selection of icao codes from our scheduled routes. surely, there must be a way to file a manual report of a flight between two airports. In addition to that, how do I stop the default kennedy airport from showing up on the list of airports? We have not included it into any of our schedules. This is very confusing to the pilots. we do not have any acars operational at this time.

Well, this was promising but unfortunately did not work. I have checked the pw and salt values in the db and they now are as you posted. They were copy/pasted. Tried with my pilot ID AND email login with pw of 1234567 ....... no success

Sorry about double post...dont know what happened there.... just went into the database via phpAdmin and looked at the pilots table...the pw's are hashed, so that isnt much help - at least I dont think it is.

I tried logging in with success. I decided I would try the reset route - just to see if I got an email. Bad choice. Was advised reset email was sent....none arrived.Here we are both locked out of our own system. It is just in the setup phase too. Maybe reinstall the whole thing?

I have added an airport during the initial setup of the va. I want to edit the airport from KJFK to CZBF using the Airports Add/editor facility i input the new ICAO for CZBF ( Bathurst) and press the lookup button and the editor begins the data search. Nothing takes place. even if I manually edit the data and save the airport, no change takes place. Aparently a delete airport option was not programmed for some reason. how can I either edit or delete this airport - rither remedy works for me. thnx

I finally got PHPVMS operational on my hosting server. However, I am plauged with Strict Standards warnings that I cannot keep from displaying. Server php version is V5.4 and cannot be lowered to 5.3 Aparently this newer version of php is why these errors are showing up. I have been given instructions on editing the "core/app.config.php" file to add this line of code: E_ALL &~E_NOTICE &~E_STRICT on line 33. This has not prevented the warnings from displaying. Any help VERY MUCH appreciated.

Hello I seem to be having a problem with installing phpvms. I have followd all the available directions and still no joy. I am installing on x10 web hosting. I have the database created and a user with all privileges. FTP'd phpvms to the proper location. Removed the old local config.php. OK so far. next I set all indicated folders/files to 777 as instructed and ran the installer. OH BOY - all tables created successfully! Heres where I get into trouble...on the next screen after filling in all my Airline details and select next, I get many (30 or more) Strict Standards: accessing static property PIREPAdmin erroer and they all seem to point at the CondonModule.class.php and the CiteCMS php files. Where do I start to fix this issue?
