  1. I found one very small limitation of kACARS which is

kACARS only saves one configuration mean if you have two airlines with different phpVMS installation like I have since don't want to mess up statistics of civil VA with my Military VA you have to Alter configuration every time you fly for one

so here just an idea if possible:

something like a dropdown to choose from Airline configs for Pilots flying in multiple Virtual Airlines different phpVMS Installs

kACARS is still the best ACARS for VA's :)

    Best Regards

  2. Awsome nabeel, now we won't have any issues with powered by phpVMS problems over the topics. But i don't really need it, that's why phpVMS is free and open source so i'll keep the powered by phpVMS up.

fully agree nice offer but why remove the Link

I rather like to show what system is driving force behind my VA :)

  3. Is it possible that your hosting service does not allow you to have files outside of the "httpdocs" directory? The file is in the tmp directory. Not sure what your hosting is but if it is shared the server config is probably causing your issue, and I am guessing that you have phpvms installed under your forum, I have not seen that before, might be an issue if your forum is using certain permissions on the folder tree.

simpilot the subdomain is named "forum.simaerobatic.com" and PHPVMS is directly installed in "httpdocs" of that subdomain

but the fact is that their is no forum installed at that domain at all ;)

that is possible that my host did not allow file outside "httpdocs" I will write my Host admin and ask him if such restriction is ON

  4. I get following error dont really know what causing this or lets better say I dont know if I doing something wrong or the PHP settings on server?

Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/tmp/phpxU2YaM) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/simaerobatic/domains/forum.simaerobatic.com/) in /home/simaerobatic/domains/forum.simaerobatic.com/htdocs/admin/modules/Import/Import.php on line 81

  6. Pilot Flight Number Departure Arrival Status Altitude Speed Distance/Time Remain

    SVA0001 - Thomas Schedl SVA500 EDTQ EDDF Arrived 0 0 1 nm / 00:00

    SVA0003 - Valentin Golec SVA128 EGLL LOWS Climbing 30358 509 374 nm / 0:44

how can get the exact output of my current flight like above to put it on the front page? and how can this be formated to look exactly like the output under the live ACARS map?

    BR and thanks in advance

  7. you have did another thing much more clever with your fleet than I did which is the picture size =much faster loading time than mine

since my pictures on fleet page are 1680x1248 resized by the system to 350x240px and that for all planes resulting that it has to load many large pictures so I have to redone this part

  8. have uploaded the new PHP file to my sites core/modules but have renamed and leaved the old version for the moment

since I have to inform my Pilots to Update to new client version that is corresponding to the new PHP ;) but before I will test it!

  9. That error is telling you that the "$list" variable is coming back empty, there is nothing for the foreach command to look at. Do you have any schedules in your DB?

@dimitris - that is the older code as well.

I had at least 20 flights in database at time of this error
