mw308
Hi all I've searched I think every file but I must be blind! How do I change the email server the site uses to send emails to all pilots, if you can of course? If not how are emails sent? Many thanks Will
Administrators Nabeel Posted December 15, 2009 Administrators Report Share Posted December 15, 2009 It's in the setting admin panel, the admin_email. That should have been moved into the local.config =
mw308
Sorry Nabeel think I'm still lost - it's too late in the day here Where do I find admin_email? I've looked in the admin panel and also in the admin tpl files. Thanks
Administrators Nabeel Posted December 15, 2009 Administrators Report Share Posted December 15, 2009 In the admin panel, goto the general settings, or the settings page. It's the first option on top, for the email.
mw308
I can only see the "Webmaster Address" as anything relating to email on the General Settings page. I've got no options there for email server settings.
Administrators Nabeel Posted December 15, 2009 Administrators Report Share Posted December 15, 2009 That's the one. Sorry, couldn't remember the name
mw308
That changes the address that the email comes from. I need to be able to change the server that sends them - is that possible?
Administrators Nabeel Posted December 16, 2009 Administrators Report Share Posted December 16, 2009 Ohh, hmm, not yet... it just uses the mail() function of PHP. I can build that in, I guess you want to use SMTP? I'll add those settings into the app.config. Can you open a bug to remind me? The link's in my sig
