Hangman Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 Dear all After three attempts at installing phpVMS as posted for download on the website, I am turning to here for help! Essentially, I have installed phpVMS into a root directory. The index page shows up, but when I click on any of the links to either log in, click pilots and so on, it returns a 404 error. Any advice on what to do? Thanks Quote

Hangman Posted September 15, 2013 Author Report Posted September 15, 2013 Hello: it is a paid domain via GoDaddy, it appears that were were a few issues with the way they have the account set up. A friend of mine as recoded part of phpVMS as follows: "I've managed to re-write the URL parsing to work with CGI. THe only issue now is that I have had to send it through as GET data. Which means I have to parse the URL for the programs to be able to use GET data again for reference, the files I've changed: added: .htaccess modified: /core/classes/CodonRewrite.class.php /core/app.config.php" Unfortunately the ACP is still out of action with the same issue, though hopefully he'll fix that for me too... maybe this could be patched for general release as it would ensure compatibility with any system? t_bergman Posted September 16, 2013 Report Posted September 16, 2013 What php version are you running? Anything over 5.2 will cause issues with phpVMS; also if you are on their "4G" hosting, the mySQL database is hosted remotely from where your files are hosted. You will need to make sure that the database and hosting are set up correctly. Quote
