danmand
Hi Folks. I hope everyone is having a great new year! I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I can't find anything during a search. If I have a flight scheduled say from New York to London, but I want different aircraft types to fly it (i.e., 747, 767, 777, etc.) do I have to create different flights for each aircraft or is there a way to setup one schedule and choose between allowed aircraft? Thanks. Dan
Administrators Nabeel Posted January 8, 2010 Administrators Report Share Posted January 8, 2010 Well, if you mean can you fly any aircraft, yes, it doesn't restrict the aircraft that can be filed in the PIREP or the route. It's just for reference purposes.
danmand
Thank you, I realize that. But I noticed that FSACARS pulls the plane listed in the schedule. Is there a way we can have the pilot choose an aircraft to fly when he places a bid for it?
Administrators Nabeel Posted January 8, 2010 Administrators Report Share Posted January 8, 2010 Not really, but there was a thread about how to setup all your aircraft in FSACARS, and it will generate a list to chose from IIRC
danmand
I couldn't find the thread you were referring to, but I think I'm just going to set up different flights for different aircraft. Thanks
