Making Files writeable.

Ok, So I have this at the moment.

Now I have read plenty of other topics and I'm slightly confused. I have made the folders 777. Are there supposed to be files in them? I'm just confused.

you make those kolders writable and all inside also.

Hey,

Some of them won't have files, but as joeri said, the files and folders should be set as writable. Are you on a Windows or Linux server? I'm guessing Linux. If it says its not writable then check the permissions again. It tries to actually do a write and it will only return a denied if it actually isn't writable.

No Matter what I do, I just can't get it to work. I have no clue where the other folders and/or files should be.

Those are from the root, where index.php is. So where index.php is, goto core/pages, or core/cache. Core is on the same "level" as the install folder is.

So, There should be a pages folder in the same directory as the install folder?

no there is a core folder in that folder there is the pages folder that has to be 777

Just a quick update.

Now, I'm getting a

"Fatal error: Class 'CodonRewrite' not found in /home/midwayvi/public_htmlcore/app.config.php on line 277"

Even though in the PHP it's there. Did I mess up again. lol

Make sure the core/local.config.php file is completely empty (file size of 0) and wrtable
