News and or created Page as the Landingpage?

Hi everybody

got a little question.

I like that the visitors of my Site first see News or a created Page when they land on my Website. 

Can any one tell me how i can realize that?

I have to make that configurable, as to what the default page will be. However, right now news is a widget right now, which can be added onto any page as:

 

{{ Widget::latestNews(['count' => 1]) }}
