LordWizrak
Running version simpilot 5.5.2 I changed the ranks by deleting all the old ranks and adding in the new ones as a result of implementing some VA updates, however following, when I went into the manage fleet section to change the ranks (as well as many other values) an error message saying "There was error editing the aircraft". Not only that but adding onto that, I am unable to delete users who are no longer with the VA, and unable to add new aircrafts into the fleet. Any causes to the error and any remedies to the situation? Help is greatly appreciated.
Administrators ProAvia Posted November 16, 2020 Administrators Report Share Posted November 16, 2020 PHP version? MySQL or MariaDB version? Have you tried directly editing the DB tables? If you choose to try, make a backup of the DB first.

Administrators ProAvia Posted November 18, 2020 Administrators Report Share Posted November 18, 2020 Did you delete the ranks thru the admin panel or directly thru the database? Have you changed any files? What skin are youusing? Are you using the default admin skin? Check with your host to verify that strict mode is off in MySQL. Do you have a backup of the database from before you deleted the ranks?
LordWizrak
Ranks were deleted through the admin panels instead of the database, no files were changes, skin is "ela", and the admin is running the default skin. MySQL has strict mode turned off as far as I'm aware.
Administrators ProAvia Posted November 18, 2020 Administrators Report Share Posted November 18, 2020 Do you have a backup of the database from before you deleted the ranks? While I don't think it should make any difference, change back to the default skin and see what that does. Unfortunately, I have never had any luck with the ela skin. If none of that works, install a new virgin phpVMS 5.5.2 in another folder with a new database, then test it to see if itworks correctly.
