John J Posted February 14, 2009 Report Posted February 14, 2009 Hi all you budding FSacars experts, I need a little help. When I set up at my departure airport I start FSacars and it works fine except fr one thing. When I click to get the flight from my VA it goes and gets only the first flight in the database. I have tried manually imputting the data, but clicking get from VA reverts it all back to the first flight in the list. It appears to default to the first schedule in the list whatever. Any help appreciated. John Quote
Administrators Nabeel Posted February 14, 2009 Administrators Report Posted February 14, 2009 It's supposed to work, I have it on my list to check, it's supposed to pull the latest bid info Quote
John J Posted February 18, 2009 Author Report Posted February 18, 2009 Hi Nabeel, Downloaded and substituted the fsacars.php as suggested. Unfortunately it doesnt work. Now it does not pull any flights at all from my bid list of 2 flights. Hope you can fix it. Thanks, John Quote
Administrators Nabeel Posted February 18, 2009 Administrators Report Posted February 18, 2009 D'oh. I'll let you know Quote
Administrators Nabeel Posted February 21, 2009 Administrators Report Posted February 21, 2009 Please try the latest beta, replacing: core/modules/acars/fsacars.php core/common/schedulesdata.class.php Quote
John J Posted February 21, 2009 Author Report Posted February 21, 2009 Hi Nabeel, This may sound like a silly question. I have the version 1.2610 which I nthought was the latest. Where can I find the beta version you mention. Thanks John Quote
Administrators Nabeel Posted February 22, 2009 Administrators Report Posted February 22, 2009 I just released the latest version which is 1.2.628 I think They're all in the http://downloads.phpvms.net area. Quote
John J Posted February 22, 2009 Author Report Posted February 22, 2009 Thanks Nabeel, I will give it a try and let you klnow if it works John Quote
Administrators Nabeel Posted February 22, 2009 Administrators Report Posted February 22, 2009 Thanks! Quote
John J Posted February 22, 2009 Author Report Posted February 22, 2009 Hi Nabeel, Well I tried the beta ones and all that happened was it got a blank record OR it just cleared the text boxes. John Quote
Administrators Nabeel Posted February 22, 2009 Administrators Report Posted February 22, 2009 Did you try the release one? Download a fresh fsacars config file. How many bids do you have? Make sure the files are uploaded completely Quote
John J Posted February 22, 2009 Author Report Posted February 22, 2009 Hi Nabeel, I downloaded the beta and release version 1.2.628 and installed the following core/modules/acars/fsacars.php core/common/schedulesdata.class.php I downloaded a fresh FSacars.ini and installed it. I have set up 2 bids just to try it. Unfortunately, it seems to do the same thing. Whe I put in the flight number (either just the number part or even the complete flight number with airline designator) it just empties all the flight details and leaves the boxes empty even if I put in Dep and arival ICAO codes it does the same. I dont know if anyone else is having this problem. John Quote
Administrators Nabeel Posted February 22, 2009 Administrators Report Posted February 22, 2009 Install the entire thing, not just those two files, run the update.php Then redownload the fsacars config file Enter your full pilot number (code + number). Then click flight from VA Quote
John J Posted February 22, 2009 Author Report Posted February 22, 2009 Ok Nabeel, As insrtructed, I installed all the latest 1.2.628 files and ran the update successfully. I downlosaded a new fsacars.ini and installed it. Sadly to say it is still the same for me. My pilot callsign is going in Ok, and when I put the flight number I get no erros when I click flight from VA, it clears all the boxes. John Quote
John J Posted February 22, 2009 Author Report Posted February 22, 2009 Sadly, I shall be away for most of today so wont be able to re-test anything until very late or tomorrow. Thanks for your patience, John Quote
