stuartpb
How much did it cost? The overall cost was close to £2000. The custom watercooling took a fair chunk of that (over £200), and also the professional respray (around £200 if I remember rightly). Then the various modding parts took another chunk. The components stood me at around £1200. I had a budget of £1700 but went way over that by the end of the build. It sounds very expensive, but for that money I got a unique PC, and one which could easily outperform pre built PC's at the same price point. Half the fun was building the rig too. bunoire14
Im Running: Intel Core i7 2600K OC'd at 4.7 Ghz 8GB Corsair Dominator DDR3 1600MHZ RAM 2 x WD Velociraptor 600GB 10,000RPM SATA III HDD's COnfigured RADI0 Single GTX580 Graphics Card, All on a ASUS P6T Pro Mobo, Housed in a Coolermaster Cosmos S Case. I have a 1000W PSU to run it and it only has windows 7 and FSX installed, nothing else! I get around 40 - 150 FPS unlocked but for best result find locking mine to 30FPS using the external Limiter works best.
