Changing a pilots rank?

How do I change a pilots rank? I have tried adding hours and that doesn't do it. There is no button to change rank? I'm using a pretty much stock PhpVMS install with pretty much no moods. Website here; wwwflyiva.org Thanks!

As long as the config file had ranks_autocalculate set to true it will automatically update their rank when approving a PIREP from the pilot if needed. If you are manually adding hours in the admin panle and need the rank to update you can go to - Pilots & Groups - Pilot Ranks - then use the recalculate link at the top left in the sidebar, or go in the pilot's profile and manually change the rank.

I;m trying to change it in the admin panel but there is no option?

I added hours from transfer hours and its not updating after doing the recalculate? Am I missing something?

Also here is a shot of the rank screen showing that I do actually have ranks setup.

By this screen, this pilot should be a senior captain?

In your local.config change

# If you want to count transfer hours in rank calculations
Config::Set('TRANSFER_HOURS_IN_RANKS', false);

With This:

# If you want to count transfer hours in rank calculations
Config::Set('TRANSFER_HOURS_IN_RANKS', true);
