Check if user is in flight

Is there a way to check to see if a user is currently in flight?

Like an if statement:

if user is in flight

do this

else

error: you are currently not in flight

something like that???

Well im sure there is but why would you need this? The ACARS shows if they are in flight, and if they arent using any type of ACARS there is no way to see if they are flying a flight for your airline or not.

There is no other way of knowing if a pilot is flying, if he is not A: Flying online, or B:Using an acars program.
