Paul Defaire
Hey everyone, I just logged in to my admin panel to add a new hub, filled in the icao (eggp) and clicked lookup, but nothing is happening. It just says "Fetching airport data.." - Is the lookup service down (wherever that is)? Our website is hosted by fivedev, so it's not a local server issue either.. Jeff
You can manually add it. Here is the info: ICAO: EGGP Airport Name: Liverpool John Lennon Airport Country Name: United Kingdom Latitude: 53.2001 Longitude: -2.5059 If you want the airport diagram in pdf format, here is the link (Click)
Paul Defaire
Yeah I did add it manually, but it's just a bit of a bummer now that I'm about to add a bunch of destination airports as well.. >_<
Alex
It is broken for me too, maybe it is the geonames server that is down? Is there another server we can fetch the data? it can be changed in the local config file.

Moderators joeri Posted July 29, 2011 Moderators Report Share Posted July 29, 2011 there schould be info on it to change it to the phpvms server or look in the app config and copy it over
Alex
clear the cache then change the airport look up server to the following in your localconfig Config::Set('AIRPORT_LOOKUP_SERVER', 'http://api.phpvms.net'); if the airport look up server part isnt in your localconfig, it is in your app config. Copy it into your localconfig. Its working again once changed. Alex
