CSS Skining

Hello i have downloaded a Css template from http://www.free-css.com/free-css-templates/page2/mokofactory.php#bookmarks

But when i go to my admin and change the template to this it messes up my site. The files in the folder dont look like usaualy skins. PLEASE HELP!

Have a look at the way the default skin is done, and you will see how to do it. Especially look at the layout.tpl file.

Okay so i would copy that?

Make a copy of the crystal skin and rename the folder, and edit the files inside it, and add any tpl files from the core>templates folder and save them to the new skin folder. Put the css file in the skin folder. And any JS files you need in there too.

Edit what files inside? I have a bunch of index.html and so..

Take a look in the crystal skin and copy it and rename it to whatever you want, preferrably with no spaces. Look at the layout.tpl, and incorporate what is in there with the template you downloaded. Just import the index.html code into the layout, and put the code that is in the layout.tpl where it was and where you want things to show. It is very easy. Copy the tpl's you want to edit from the core>templates folder and paste them into your skin folder, and edit them the way you want them.

sorry sir but i don't get it and i really need help to change my home page and add more pic and change the menu from top the right side

Ramy,

Look at the php inside of the file. There are comments for each that tell you were to put them.

As far as adding pictures, that's something you will have to figure out as it is different for each theme.
