News Item Bar line.

Everytime i create a new news entry, there is a new line that divides the news from the old one. It is getting really ugly. Is there anyway possible that i could remove the Divider lines from Each new news entry i create? Would it be better for me to manually add it in the Layout.tpl or can i still use the Phpvms News Creator

Find <hr> then remove it.

So after i write the news where do i remove the Hr? There is none in the layout.tpl... Is the news stores somewhere where i need to remove it?

/core/templates/news_newsitem.tpl

Inside you will see:

<p><?php echo html_entity_decode($body);?></p>
<hr>

Remove the <hr>

Go to the core>Templates and copy news_newsitem.tpl to your active skin folder then you will see the <hr> to remove

Keep it in your skins folder then any update will not overwright your custom settings of individual files.

The system will look first for any files in your active skin directory and if they are not there then are displayed from the core templates directory.

any template you want to copy into your skins folder will be read before the ones in core/templates

If it cannot find a specific template in your skins folder, it will then look in core/templates
