Changing Module Names?

NO IT'S NOT! Unless you go inside each module folder and edit the .php and change the names there as well.I wouldn't suggest that as changing module's name may mess up other modules and files as they're all connected to each other somehow.

I am not sure why you would want to do this but if it is to change the title in the browser tab you can set a custom title in the start of the controller which will be reflected in the browser tab;
