stephanepa38
Hello I have some problems with FSACARS and the pireps. When I do one non-scheduled flight, FSACARS send this log file : [2009/06/07 14:25:00] Flight IATA:FLIGHT ? 58? 13?? E002? 26? 41?? 14:30 Parking brakes on 14:30 Block to Block Duration: 00:05 14:30 Final Fuel: 780 Lbls 14:30 Spent Fuel: 08 Lbls 14:30 Flight Length: 05 NM 14:30 TOD Land Length: 05 NM As you can see, there is not a lot of informations. When I do a scheduled flight, I have this pirep : [2009/06/07 14:17:00] Flight IATA:FSW1 Pilot Number:FSW001 Company ICAO:FSW Aircraft Type:BE58 PAX:5 Aircraft Registration:FSW-BE1 Departing Airport: LFPB Destination Airport: LFPG Alternate Airport:LFPO Online: No Route:TEST Flight Level:015 14:17 Zero fuel Weight: 4592 Lbs, Fuel Weight: 800 Lbs 14:17 Parking Brakes off 14:17 Com1 Freq=122.80 14:17 VR= 064 Knots 14:17 V2= 079 Knots 14:17 Take-off 14:17 Take off Weight: 5391 Lbs 14:17 Wind: 000? @ 000 Knots Heading: 028? 14:17 POS N48? 57? 13?? Is it normal that I don't have a lot of informations for the non-scheduled flights ? I would like FSACARS to sent the touchdown rate. How can I do to have it in my pireps ? Administrators Nabeel Posted June 7, 2009 Administrators Report Share Posted June 7, 2009 The schedule'd/non scheduled shouldn't matter in the FSACARS log. The first one you posted is a very short flight (1 minute), so there isn't any info. Looks like the aircraft didn't move (fsacars was started then shut off). Administrators Nabeel Posted June 7, 2009 Administrators Report Share Posted June 7, 2009 And in the FSACARS options, you may have to check off the option for it to show the rate
stephanepa38
For the first flight, it is a take-off and a land on the same runway. I see in FSACARS that there was a lot of information, like the flaps (I moved the flaps and FSACARS record it). When I send my pirep with FSACARS, just after the pirep is sent, is it normal that all the informations are deleted in FSACARS ? stephanepa38
This is an other flight which is not scheduled : [2009/06/07 14:25:00] Flight IATA:FLIGHT ? 58? 13?? E002? 26? 41?? 14:30 Parking brakes on 14:30 Block to Block Duration: 00:05 14:30 Final Fuel: 780 Lbls 14:30 Spent Fuel: 08 Lbls 14:30 Flight Length: 05 NM 14:30 TOD Land Length: 05 NM No more informations. Before I used phpVMS, I used FSACARS without any module. I have these errors since I use phpVMS. What must I do ? You said I have to check off one option to add the touchdown rate in the pireps, but what option do i have to check off ? Administrators Nabeel Posted June 7, 2009 Administrators Report Share Posted June 7, 2009 It's not being used properly, it doesn't matter if it's schedule or not, FSACARS doesn't/has no way of checking whether there is a schedule or not. If you look at the flight time, it's all within one minute, that's why there isn't enough information. I'm not sure what option, it's in the FSACARS program itself. If you look at their site, there might be more information
stephanepa38
Hello I found one solution : I created a scheduled flight : departure ZZZZ and arrival ZZZZ Now, with this schedules flight, all is working. I will look at FSACARS website. Thanks for your help. Stéphane
Administrators Nabeel Posted June 7, 2009 Administrators Report Share Posted June 7, 2009 But, again, it doesn't matter whether it is scheduled or not. The flight you showed was a minute long, which isn't long enough for fsacars to collect any flight data
