Strider Posted June 5, 2013 Report Posted June 5, 2013 Malaysia Virtual Airlines would like to announce the launch of its brand new web site. It has taken 3 weeks to complete. It also comes not long after the promo video was launched. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTjGnymiz4A. We at MVA believe that with this new look we will only get better and better. We are also starting weekly group flights. These will take place every Saturday at 13:00GMT. 20:00 in Malaysia. To view the new site please visit http://malaysiava.org.'>http://malaysiava.org. This is all due to it being nearly 3 years since the start of MVA. We will also be reaching 10,000 flights this month, which is a huge milestone in the history of MVA. In August we will be celebrating 3 years of operations. It has been a great experience and am looking forward to continuing operations and other milestones in the years to come. We would also like to announce our partnership with Virtual One World, a place where VA's can get together form partnerships, hold joint events/group flights, and further the links between our VA's. We also would like to announce the partnership with Virtual Oasis Asia Airlines, this great VA based in Hong Kong is a superbly run VA, and we look forward to further cooperation in the future and joint events. Tom Posted June 5, 2013 Report Posted June 5, 2013 One of the nicest airline sites I've seen recently; it's so clean and has a nice amount of spacing, great bootstrap integration too. Point to note: the register and pilots pages look like they're missing padding or overflow the container (Chrome). Also personal preference but I felt it'd make more sense for the stats/flights to swap places with teamspeak/facebook 1 Quote
Strider Posted June 5, 2013 Author Report Posted June 5, 2013 Thanks, I have made that change to the TS/FB with the stats and flights Quote
freshJet Posted June 5, 2013 Report Posted June 5, 2013 As above, it instantly hits you as being a clean and smart design. I would suggest reducing the padding-left on the 'nBox' section (or the margin on the container). Changing the backgrounds of the pilot and staff recruitment statuses to green and red respectively would make for some nice eye candy as well Quote
Strider Posted June 5, 2013 Author Report Posted June 5, 2013 I am actually unsure where that padding is coming from. I can't find it at all in the CSS file. Quote
freshJet Posted June 5, 2013 Report Posted June 5, 2013 You have this set for your container: margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; You have essentially set it to margin:auto which will center it. Quote
Strider Posted June 5, 2013 Author Report Posted June 5, 2013 There is a codeshare module I got made http://malaysiava.org/index.php/codeshare Lists all routes in the schedules that are operated by other airlines. Quote
Moderators joeri Posted June 6, 2013 Moderators Report Posted June 6, 2013 do you care to share that module ? Quote
Strider Posted June 6, 2013 Author Report Posted June 6, 2013 If you PM me I will send it to you. via email or skype if I have you on it. I also have to tell you how to put the data in to the table Quote
Strider Posted June 6, 2013 Author Report Posted June 6, 2013 I have created an admin side to the codeshare module, working on some kinks, but hopefully will get it finished soon. Thanks Sava. Quote
