HI Jongee,
I am unsure I am not that technical. I had a failure the first time but when I was sent the link by Nabeel to the latest dev it went through no trouble. I followed the instructions to the letter. My install as the phpvms folder in the root, /phpvms and the contents of the phpvms/public folder are in /public_html.
Just make sure you follow the steps of the docs https://docs.phpvms.net/installation/uploading
After that only Nabeel can help.
Several people have gone through this.

As far as I know a manual pirep does not allow you to put the actual loading in so you will get nothing. I am not sure if the loading is added if you use the Simbriefing option and then profile. You should get a debit for Aircraft usage, fuel and pilot pay.

This is being fixed as far as I know, I believe it is caused by a prefiled flight remaining in the database. I have had success by purging such an item, it can be identified because it does not have a reported date set against it. I believe that the latest versions of Acars is clearing this problem. You might try and contact your user ask them to open the Acars app and if asked if they want to continue the flight say No. It should clear it.

I would not use the beta files at all. Go to discord and download the latest dev release in the release section. Clear it all away and start again following the doc's procedure.
I did that and it worked straight away. It never worked with the beta's for me, total failure.

I spent a long time adjusting the stisla skin but it appears that its early building is resulting in a few errors when running with the latest phpVMS. Not that you would notice to be fair, it such a small problem.
However as well as working on the stisla skin I followed the instructions in the docs above and created my own skin based on the default. I have now moved back to my own skin as it is much easier to bring in the latest dev updates into that skin than with stisla.
Its worth learning both there is so much in both.

Thats a lot of questions, I was thinking the same sort of things in Nov when we started. I have had to get guidance and read up on the subject and I still know next to nothing.
I got an editor and started just looking at the structure first.

Thats explains it then, I noticed a small issue with the stisla skin. We have a Mac user doing Cargo flights was working with him to see if we could generate a fare.

Hi,
Hope you get on ok, today I finished a move of the forum to the same hosting as the website. We had a meeting and decided that we are now going live with phpVMS v7 with Acars. VAM is on another hosting site with only a few weeks left.
I started the move in early November and with help from the guys on here and Discord I have been able to deliver a reasonably good working solution.
I am still making small changed to improve the look etc.
The widgets in the download section are really good and enabled some great results, that and being able to use a module.
So yes we did the right thing and we are excited for the future of the version.
As for Cyberair, well I was very involved until a few years ago ended up at the EGLL hub captain. I went away from flight sims for various reasons until lockdown back last year. Purchased X-plane and got into the Zibo 737 then I got talked back into Cyberair and ended up working on this website and forum.
It has kept me sane.
As I said hope all goes well for you.

What version are you using, I had similar problems until I used the latest Dev version. As I said you can get it in discord.
I am no techy expert but went through this in Nov.

4 of use clubbed together to pay for it, now it is free to all our pilots.
It is very good and the writer is working on it all the time improving.
Well worth the money in my view.

We tried importing and had a few issues. I think it has something to do with what it is expecting. If something is not right it will stop at the error. We made it to 160 before someone deleted the lot. I ended up entering them in small batches now I do it manually. We are up to 200 now.

We were in the same position at the beginning of November, we had jumped in and setup new hosting and installed phpVMS version 7. I had to work hard to get things going but I had a lot of help and advice from others on here who are more skilled.
Although version 7 is still in development it is very stable and has its own version of Acars (which is payware, but only once for main site).
We are now live with the new site with many changes to look like our VA, we have said we will close the VAM site when the hosting end in February.
We are pleased with the situation and the good thing is there is more to come.

Well several months on the site is going well with help from the guys on here and on discord. I have learnt a lot with the help and the site is more or less ready for use by the pilots.
My wish would be to have a full blown statistics page as well as being able to put up a selection of images around the site.
So Happy holidays to all and lets hope for a much better 2021.

I have only had our site working for 3 weeks but I made a file with over 15,000 airports and it slowed it all down.
So I slimmed them all down, if the airport is not in the system it will add them as it goes if the system can look them up. Its best to keep the file as small as you can get away with.
The same with flights, our old website had 4000 flights which caused all sorts of problems.

I followed this after getting the latest Dev version from Nabeel and it installed and worked.
When you say the flight map is broken what do you mean, the best way of sorting an issue is asking on Discord there are some very good guys on there. As I said I have no skills in the area just followed what I was told. I am getting help to make some small changes to the theme.
Also its worth checking the Github bit above as the bugs are listed there.
Hope you can get sorted.

That is not the best version to load, it has changed a whole lot. Go onto discord in the announcement section for phpvms and download the 7.0.0 dev version.
Install that as per the instructions and it should work. I had the same issue as have others. I am no expert only loaded it in last 3 weeks BTW.

The best way of changing the style of the default is to creat a copy of the style.css file give it you own name, then alter the app.blade.php file to include your style after the line for the original style.
Then you can alter the colours and add any alterations you want. There are plenty of examples on the web.

Just a couple of great locations to research. I had started way back trying to alter the default style.css until I was told to leave that one and create your own, that way any updates to the default style does not break your work.
