NGS Posted September 12, 2009 Report Posted September 12, 2009 EDIT: ehm wrong section...please move to Support ^^ Hi, i've a problem installing phpVMS on my host. After inserting correct parameters on database page, it returns a lot of messages like this Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/3429c76e4ee535c636996d8dbaeaecb2) is not within the allowed path(s):[...] /core/classes/SQL.class.php on line 594 and installation terminates there. With the beta version the installation goes smooth. I can't modify php.ini or httpd.conf. Suggestions? thanks in advance EDIT I've commented the lines in SQL.class.php that refers to file_exist function. in Get_cache function. PhpVMS can work without these lines? Quote
Administrators Nabeel Posted September 12, 2009 Administrators Report Posted September 12, 2009 Moved to support. Caching should be shut off. It doesn't need those lines though. I would contact your host... it shouldn't be giving that open_basedir message, since it's within your home directory... Quote
