EDIT: ehm wrong section...please move to Support ^^

Hi,

i've a problem installing phpVMS on my host.

After inserting correct parameters on database page, it returns a lot of messages like this

Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/3429c76e4ee535c636996d8dbaeaecb2) is not within the allowed path(s):[...] /core/classes/SQL.class.php on line 594

and installation terminates there.

With the beta version the installation goes smooth.

I can't modify php.ini or httpd.conf.

Suggestions?

thanks in advance

EDIT

I've commented the lines in  SQL.class.php that refers to file_exist function. in Get_cache function. PhpVMS can work without these lines?

Moved to support.

Caching should be shut off. It doesn't need those lines though. I would contact your host... it shouldn't be giving that open_basedir message, since it's within your home directory...
