Anyways, I noticed that when a new user is created it has no profile avatar so IE8 shows a the dreaded "red X". I also noticed that until the user is approved in the admin site the rank image place holder displays the "red X". Once I approve the user the red X goes away for the rank. Would it be possible to have all new accounts have a place holder image so this doesn't happen with IE. In FF3.5 the image is still broken but it displays a little gray box.
