Manual Rankings with Notifications

Hi,

I've seen similar topics to this on the forum, but nothing exactly like this one. Is there a way to have ranking changes be completely manual, and you receive an alert whenever someone reaches an hours requirement for their next ranking? My reasoning:

I have the Exam Center module integrated in my website. As a sample, to get to the PIC CAT I rank, I'd like for a pilot to first reach 50 hours, then take an exam, and upon passing, get a promotion.

I'm not very good with php code, so any bits of code to get this working would be awesome! Thanks for all of your help

You can make them manual, check the app.config.php for the setting.

But there's nothing with an alert right now. It's a good idea.

The alert would be a good idea. I give out awards for x amount hours flown. Its a pain going through the roster and checking the hours.

Config::Set('RANKS_AUTOCALCULATE', true);I NEED TO CHANGE TO FALSE ?

And how i can change the rank in the admin center ?

and change rank in your admin CP pilot profile..

you can't change the pilot rank in the admin for some reason. Can you please tell me how? there is no way to do it.
