PBCool1 Posted December 12, 2014 Report Posted December 12, 2014 Hi all, As our new updated site sits now, the webmaster (President) is the only one who receives new pilot join auto-emails. Can that be expanded so that multiple staff personnel get the auto-emails also? Not sure if there is a module for this out there...I havent seen any. Any constuctive help on this would be very helpful. Preston B. VP UPSVAC http://upsvac.com/new Quote
freshJet Posted December 12, 2014 Report Posted December 12, 2014 Since the PHP mail function does not allow multiple receipients, you would need to repeat the line that sends the email, I think it starts Email::send. All you would do is repeat the line and change the receipient to the email itself, so instead of the variable $to (for example), you would enter the email, i.e 'email@site.com'. Quote
Moderators servetas Posted December 12, 2014 Moderators Report Posted December 12, 2014 What i would suggest is adding forwarders on the email your phpvms website uses. That would be easier to do. Quote
Administrators simpilot Posted December 13, 2014 Administrators Report Posted December 13, 2014 The native email system is actually set up to send to multiple recipients, you just have to supply the addresses in array form. From util.class.php - start line 293 //allowing function to send to an array of email addresses, not just one if(is_array($email)) { foreach($email as $emailrec) { $mail->AddAddress($emailrec); } } Quote
