I tried to use my own Skin by pastin a copy of Crystal in the Skins Folder and changing the topbanner but after changing the Skin in the Settings nothing happend. Example <link rel="stylesheet" media="all" type="text/css" href="<?php echo SITE_URL?>/lib/skins/crystal/styles.css" /> the "crystal" needs to be changed to your new skin name, and have you placed the new image in the correct skins folder?
