Moderators Parkho Posted November 27, 2015 Moderators Report Posted November 27, 2015 Hi guys, For some reason, every time I try to access the forum from my tablet in Chrome or Firefox I get redirected to some website (ww1.br-update.com). Any ideas? Quote
josh90 Posted November 27, 2015 Report Posted November 27, 2015 Hi parkho, I have this trouble too, it's most annoying trying to access on an android device. This was brought up some months ago now, in the thread below: http://forum.phpvms....oid#entry121142 However, the problem still remains unfortunately. Have you considered switching to 'Apple' devices? Josh Quote
Moderators Parkho Posted November 27, 2015 Author Moderators Report Posted November 27, 2015 Oh I see. Actually I'm not a fan of apple devises since they're not my type therefore I don't have them at all and nor my wife does as he thinks the same as me. Ha! Ha! Anyways, I think I continue replying to posts using my mighty laptop. Quote
Moderators servetas Posted November 27, 2015 Moderators Report Posted November 27, 2015 Have you tried clearing the browser cached data? First of all I would suggest visiting the forum via opening a "private window". Also, have you tried accessing the forum through another url? Maybe forum.phpvms.net instead of phpvms.net or even http://forum.phpvms.net/index.php ? Quote
Moderators Parkho Posted November 28, 2015 Author Moderators Report Posted November 28, 2015 I have tried everything and have used 4 different browsers but they're all the same. It must be something in HOST settings. Quote
mattsmith Posted November 28, 2015 Report Posted November 28, 2015 This has been happening for months. You need to request desktop site then go to the forum. Quote

ctabuyo Posted November 28, 2015 Report Posted November 28, 2015 No, he means you have to configure your Android´s browser to show pages in "Desktop Mode". I tried like that in my father´s Android and it worked! Regards, 1 Quote
Moderators Parkho Posted November 30, 2015 Author Moderators Report Posted November 30, 2015 Would you tell me how it's done? Quote
Moderators Parkho Posted November 30, 2015 Author Moderators Report Posted November 30, 2015 I found it. The solution is Firefox and its add-on Phony. Just install Phony and open it and choose desktop view and you're done Quote
mattsmith Posted November 30, 2015 Report Posted November 30, 2015 In chrome i go to the 3 dots in the left hand corner (it's the options tab i think) then select "Request desktop site" wait for it to reload then select forum. Quote
