Administrators Nabeel Posted April 27, 2018 Administrators Report Posted April 27, 2018 IPB has a feature called "clubs" - basically subcommunities - https://invisioncommunity.com/news/product-updates/new-clubs-r1017/ Right now, I have this feature disabled, but would this be something VAs would be interested in - being able to create a club within the phpVMS forum to post updates/use as a forum, without having to create your own? Similar to what avsim does, but there's a lot more customization. And maybe only for established VAs, so it doesn't get completely cluttered with one hit wonders. Thoughts? Quote
magicflyer Posted April 28, 2018 Report Posted April 28, 2018 I haven't ran a VA in a while - But consider this: Most Established VAs have their own forum and it would probably be technically difficult for them to transfer their posts or start over from scratch. Their pilots would probably get angry if they lose their post history. God knows why lol. Quote
Cor Posted April 30, 2018 Report Posted April 30, 2018 Hi Nabeel, At V-Bird we have our own forum. The forum is split in a Dutch section and English section and because the VA is Dutch from origin most post are in Dutch So for me it had no use. Regards, Cor Quote
