TheBulk
Hi everyone, I want to add meta tags to my site and was wondering which page I need to add them to and where the document is located. If anyone nows or has any ideas I would be really greatful if you could post here to tell me. Many thanks
Jeff
Also, if I wanted to place a favicon on my site, where do you place the favicon.ico image? do you just place it in the main directory of the public_html folder?
Administrators simpilot Posted June 30, 2010 Administrators Report Share Posted June 30, 2010 Meta tags should go in the <head> section of your page, which is located in layout.tpl if you have not modified it. Favicon goes in the root of the site and must be a true ico file.
Jeff
So when you say root, you mean The Root as in /home/yoursite (the one with the house next to it)?
Thomas
home/public_html folder, then it should work for the fav icon

TheBulk
Thanks for the info, I will try that out. At present I think that my site doesnt have any meta tag info so better get some in there me thinks. Also thanks to Jeff for asking about favicon, that clarified what I thought.
