Flight hours counted as 1 hr = 100 mins

Hi all,

at first please excuse me if I have miseed a thread (topic) that might have already been posted on the issue. If so, please, redirect me there.

I have only recently downloaded and installed the phpvms script set, customised it a bit (graphics, font colours, etc, no action coding, though). I have also set up a rank system, and started receiving PIREP reports. Then, pilots report that the time left to achieve the next rank (set to 10 hrs) has been calulated as if 1 hr were equal 100 mins, for example, a pilot has flown his first flight, reported (via pireps) that the flight time was 0.48 min. The remaining flying time to achieve the next rank (set o 10 hrs) was dispalyed as 9.52. Indeed, I checked,

I am not an expert in php coding, but I am an avid learner and I'd be grateful of someone could give me a hand to sort it out.

Kind regards to all,

Rafal.

It might be set as 9.52= 9 hrs 32 min (50 being 30 min)

Thank you, Jeff.

That's what I thought at the beginning. But the total flight duration reported through pireps was 0:48. And, as we did a test flight, this was acurate time of light - 48 minutes. The pilot still has 9.52 hrs to get the next rank.

Hello Nabeel,

thank you for your reaction.

Can you give exact steps to reproduce? How was the PIREP submitted, along with exact times, and the times for ranks

I set the rank system to achieve the second rank after flying 10 hours. In the in the admin "ranks" sections I filled the required hours to 10 (not 10:00, or 1,0 nor 1.00). Then I placed a test pirep manually, providing the flight time (and other info). The reported flight time - 1.02.

Then I flew using FSFkeeper to report a pirep. The reporting went nicely, the flight time was 1 hr 50 mins, the time reported: 1.50.

Now the pilot center summary shows my total flight time as 2.52 and the remaining time to the next rank - 7.48

Similar situations with other pilots, but I have no idea, which acars reporting system they used.

You can verify in the pilot section: www.moosedomain.net/phpvms. My pilot number is MSE0001.

Thank you for assistance.

Vicarek.
