Did you set up your folder permissions correctly?

If I remember rightly we are on the same host. Change the cache folder to permissions 777 fixed it for now. Don't know if it's comething on their end.

Yeah I think its the host, its the same for my friends VA, the perm change doesnt work for me...

Funny thing here... No changes were made to this webserver EXCEPT - We upgraded our firewall. . Wonder what would cause this? Doubt firewall is related .

Having this problem as well and it would appear that many VA's under phpvms are having this issue. Anyone able to provide assistance?

It is most likely a permissions error, please check the permissions, and set the relavant files to 777.

Thanks for the quick response. We have already checked this and permissions are fine as you mention. Any other thoughts?

Run the checkinstall and post the results, sounds like maybe a corrupt file.

The fix:

Chmod to 777 following directories

Write permissions (the folders, and files inside them)

core/cache

core/logs

core/pages

core/local.config.php

lib/rss/

lib/signatures

lib/avatars

then clear the cache in the phpvms admin

Yeah,

Just found out from out host, we have a daily cron job set up daily at 3.00AM now to do it!
