HawaiianAirVirtual Posted December 14, 2011 Report Posted December 14, 2011 Aloha, Just to start off this post on a positive note i would like to congratulate ourselves on a whopping 25 flights in one day only having 20 some pilots. Below are some things we have done in our 10 days of service: 1. We have contacted the real world Hawaiian Airlines asking permission for our VA to run. 2. We have partnered with https://www.aavirtual.net/ https://www.virtualunitedairlines.org/ and https://www.deltavirtualairlines.com/ 3. We have a few people beginning to fly on the VATSIM Network. 4. We are planning to get our own custom ACARS System within the year of 2011. 5. We have had a steady number of applications coming in daily (Usually 2-3!) Thanks for everyone who applied. 6. We hope to get partnered with VATSIM sometime within the month. (Their is a way around the 3 month rule.) 7. We have gained a new hub manager at PHNL! Not everything can be awesome here at Hawaiian without a few problems or things we need; Below are a few things we would like to get soon: 1. We would like to hire a new Human Resources Manager 2. We need Cheif Pilots for both the 717 A330 and the 767. 3. We would like an operations manager but not required yet. 4. We are in need of an Events Coordinator! If anyone in here would like to apply for one of the listed staff positons above or have any suggestions for the Hawaiian Air VA or is interested in some sort of a partnership, please contact me via Private Message and we can figure something out! Mahalo nui loa Austin Thieman Hawaiian Air VA CEO http://www.hawaiianairva.com/ *We are looking for someone to make us a Promo Video too!* Quote

Moderators joeri Posted December 14, 2011 Moderators Report Posted December 14, 2011 just use http:// instead of https:// https is for a secure conection the then you need ssl to prove the sites are legit. but i am more concerend about the missing powerd by or even the following phraze inside your pilot handbook You must use your real name on the Southwest Virtual Airlines application are you one off those? freshJet Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 HAL has more hubs than just HNL... Quote
HawaiianAirVirtual Posted December 15, 2011 Author Report Posted December 15, 2011 We added one so more people have a variety to fly to/from. Kahului is a major focus city as well. Basically we did that to give pilots more options. Quote
Flightguy123 Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 HAL has more hubs than just HNL... Hawaiian Airlines has only one hub..... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hawaiian_Air Ada Quote
Strider Posted December 18, 2011 Report Posted December 18, 2011 Your banner is stretched and blurry. The DVA partner image links back to your site.Same with the flight radio. When someone signs up on the website this means that you agree to follow the rules stated above and could possibly be removed off the active roster for failure to follow the above guidelines. Are they rules or guidelines? The image in the Honolulu hub page, is too blurry. all those needs to be fixed so that it works better as a site and a VA. 25 pilots in 14 days is ok, not great. had you gotten 100 pilots in 14 days that would be great. Good luck with your VA. Quote

But the links are fixed now. Quote
