PAL0001
When entering schedules, I don't really understand why it's necessary to enter the flight time? Is there a way for the system to calculate this for you; because adding all these schedules is taking forever (editing csv only makes it slightly quicker) Regards, PAL0001
Jetwave
1) Edit the .csv as a spreadsheet in excel. 2) Format the 3 time columns (depart, arrive, ETE) to display numbers as "time - HH:MM". 3) In the ETE column, write a basic math equation "=A1-B1". 4) Drag that formula down through your ETE column and you can compute an infinite number of duration times in seconds. Strider
The flight time is there to give your pilots an estimate of how long the flight will be. It can be longer or shorter in real life. As the hours do not take into account taxiing time, weather enroute, or delays you may have. It kind of does, but you could have a long wait at an airport, due to a high level of traffic wanting to depart at the same time. So it will delay you. Moderators Parkho Posted November 8, 2012 Moderators Report Share Posted November 8, 2012 I have created a small module called "Flight Duration" and I got its data from "FSPAX". It's pretty accurate and works even if you don't add time to your schedules. If you're interested you can visit my page at Github and look for "FlightDuration".
