Hi, new here and was wondering why or if there was a airlines schedules database that all VAs could access for scheduling vice everyone having a different proprietary set. Seems it would be most beneficial to all VAs and VA Central seems to be the ideal location for it.

I recently installed the Event sign up module from SimPilotGroup, and installed it wrong (without database). Now i have 2 events that i entered into the wrongly set up plugin on my homepage (www.easyjet-virtual.net) with no way of deleting them on the admin center! how can i get rid of these? Appreciate any help in simple English, i'm only a novice!

Hello guys, I had a real weird issue today: When a user was logged in, the site was working normal. Soon as I logged out though, there were loads of error messages all over the homepage, many relating to database issues. Also, things like recent flights, filed pireps, news and other stuff that gets loaded from the db was not showing. I tried clearing the cache, didn't help. I bothered the support of my host but they pointed at the phpvms system, saying their servers were well within parameters. Then, while being logged out, I clicked on one of the links on my page and then went back the homepage.. all of a sudden all was fine! This got me thinking about the session m…

I have a problem with the system, the pilot is flying, but when it approves the schedule of your flight, Not appear. The page of the pilot is flying like he did appears on the route flown and reporting of route approved not appear over the amount of flights and hours of it on the page.

Hi Guys & Girls, I have been working with phpvms for 2 years but recently started my own VA, Sorry if this topic has been started again, but this is putting into a spin. I have noticed that while in testing phase of our new airline, my pilots pay are being paid to the hour. Example. one pilot flew from EGKK - EHAM. His total time was 1hr 22mins. But he only got paid for 1 hr. The 22 mins he never. His hourly rate is £50per/hr so this should of been £68.33. I have look through countless pages on here, and seem to come across different answers. My question; is this possible to change? What coding do i need to use? and what file do i need to put it i…

I have uploaded a new set of schedules to our airlines DB. Today I find a problem when searching the DB for a flight so I look into it further and find the following: Search by airline it finds them all (there are 4 for Wednesday of 6) Search by aircraft it finds them all Search by departing airport finds none Search by arrival airport finds all kACARS will find them all Flights in question depart KFLO and arrive KCLT. Any ideas? Thanks.

I discovered that my problems with installation and work occuring because of provider. There is specified configuration of PHP core. I checked on the other server with other settings of php core. PHP works perfect... with php version 5.2.17 On my host provider it not works good. I have lot of errors. Below is php core conf which is work fine i have found major differences: allow_url_include disable_functions enable_dl include_path Can somebody tell which positions is really important to proper work phpvms script ?

I have searched for this Spaces Export etc but can't find any hits. If I export our Flight Schedules to update them then import them in CSV format the next time I export them I get a space infront of the Arrival time, if I then export again I get two spaces, then three. Then it stops adding the spaces. Is this a known problem?

Hello guys, come on, I have a big question that comes to me taking the time, I have VA's almost two years and in all that time had big problems with the routes, after all, do everything by PHPvms but when someone reserves a scale that route is deactivated and can not be flown by another pilot you need large number of routes in the site all the time. Already tried using CSV for a while but it is very complicated, I'm doing some research on using cronjobs or crontags, but tell me how to do routes? use their own PHPVms, there is an easier way to get a large number of routes without much effort? I await replies from you friends And heaven CAVOKS everyone.

Hello, I would like to know if it was possible to create type ratings instead of ranks. I want to assing to a pilot a certain type rating, for example, rank new hire has 2 aircrafts, B738 and B753 I would like to can assign just aircraft B738 to a pilot or B753 or both. Thanks a lot. I've been inactive for awhile and come back to find my website different than I had left it, at least on Internet Explorer. There is a dark blue accordion menu on the left side of my website and when you expand one of the headers, a whitespace is put between it and the header on top of it. It works fine in all browsers except IE. It has something to do with the little arrows beside the headers because if I remove them, it works fine in IE. Hi guys, I am getting this problem with a new install and the default crystal skin. All I did was edit the core_navigation.tpl file and added the (schedule) link to the module. On the nav bar, the (SCHEDULE) link is there for the user with and without being logged in. When I am not logged in, the flight schedule is displayed. When I am logged in, no flights are displayed. I have tried it with an admin user and a regular user and have the same problem. I thought that I saw a post with the same issue, but I can't find the post again. Please help, Thanks

Hello, When pilots bid on flights, they are no longer avaliabe for anyone else to fly until they have filed a pirep. My pilots are filing the pireps and they are accepted. For some reason however, the bids are still in their accounts so I have to manually go in a remove the bid from their profile. This has not happened to me before on another airline I was doing. Does anyone know of a fix for this? Cheers!

To anyone who can help, I had bought a hosting plan from GoDaddy for my new Virtual Airline. We got phpvms installed but whenever I click anywhere is says "input file no specified" The GoDaddy customer support said everything was fine but I was missing a file from phpvms side. He said I would need a new file .hpaccess from phpvms as their servers have been updated to apachie 2.2 or 2.3 I cant remember, it was the newest one though. Is anyone able to help me or did I just waste all that money for nothing. Thanks in Advance.

Hi Guys, Not sure its so much an issue per se but if I make a page in the admin panel and then go back and edit it, it always try to add a new paragraph - Possibly because its detecting there isn't one already. Every time I delete the paragraph and space tags - and re-edit the page they always appear. Would it be possible to know how to fix this or what file it is being checked in so I can change it. Hi guys, I have a question on the live map today. We have added a way to display the true flight path of a pilot on our live map. here http://web.skyline-va.de/live Once you click on a plane in inflight, everything is as it should be for a few moments and you can see the true flight path (green) of the pilot as well as a line plotted from the current position to the arrival airport (white) and another one from departure to arrival (red, the default one). Now as soon as you wait for one or two minutes the data get's updated a few times and only the plane moves on, leaving you with an old flightpath and a new position of the plane icon. Good evening, I'm having an issue with the pilot briefing being called three times. As I have many variables being generated (some randomly) from the database and need to remain constant, I can't have it being called three times otherwise different values will be generated. I have SELECT, UPDATE, and INSERT queries involved so calling all of them more than once as you can imagine really wrecks havoc. Does anyone else have this issue or have any ideas relating to it? I have tried reverting to the uncustomized version of schedule_brief.tpl with no success. Thanks in advance.

I'm creating a cron-job that calls the script maintenance.php, but there is a problem with the functions resetpiretcount() and resethours(). These functions are not executed because the script doesn't get the maintenance permissions to do so. Is there a solution for this? Any idea to do it in a different way?
