Based in Dorval, Quebec, Canada, it operates domestic passenger services, charter and cargo services in Nunavik and Nunavut. Last month, we enjoyed some fun in the sun and sand. This month we are going to the extreme opposite and head to the land of ice and snow. This month, we are switching to cargo aircraft and following a Buffalo Airways route from Yellowknife (CYZF) to Norman Wells (CYVQ). The route is just under 400 miles and since it is cargo, we would like to see everyone operate a Cargo aircraft. To simulate the route even more, pilots are encouraged to operate the Douglas DC3 or the Hawker Siddeley HS.748 which are the 2 oldest aircraft in our fleet and require the most skill to operate in the cold environment of the Canadian North. Lots of great things have been happening at TexAir in the last few weeks. Our flight schedule is flat out massive, but just over 1/2 complete restoring it to what it once was. We've always compared our routes to that of a legacy carrier, but utilizing different or more off-the-beaten-path crew bases and focus airports.
