  1. Haha. Good catch, I guess not. I'll fix that. Nice eyes, thanks.
  2. Hey there, I'm trying to get a 717-200 repaint going for FS9/FSX so we can start phasing out MD-83s in service at TexAir, but I've lost touch with the painter whom used to help us as he was quite busy. It needs to be a freeware model, either the JCA or HJG model will work as long as the necessary permissions are granted (I can seek these myself or the painter can do it, just let me know). I have two ideas in mind for the 717 - the first of which is to have the exact same paint scheme that our MDs have (mostly bare metal with some small designs), and the second is a new idea pitched by our COO of a white scheme with a Texas flag overlay on the fuselage. I've dabbled with painting myself but could never quite get the hang of it. If this is something you may be interested in helping us with please send me an email at texairva@gmail.com or PM me and I can provide some pics of the current MD scheme as well as the proposed scheme. I am not in a financial position to offer any real compensation, but in return for your services I can give you a staff position as Fleet Director (if you like) and offer virtual pay. Thanks in advance for your help.
  3. LOL That's alright then. At least we have it figured out now. Thanks!
  4. I had this same problem too and after looking at the templates I found it's not a skin conflict. Almost every template in the download has them printed in plain text (either intentionally or accidentally) at the bottom - a select few at the top. I was very careful in every template to make sure that it was not attached to any important code and simply removed them one by one. Looks fine for me now.
  5. That's strange, I guess it just hates me then. :-P Thanks fellas!
  6. I'm surprised I didn't think to look at that. This is what I get with just 1 attempt: That seems to me to suggest a CSS issue, but I have not touched that. Could it be something with the old skin I'm using that I can fix?
  7. Hey guys, I am glad to say after a stint away that I was able to bring my VA back with a pretty reliable host. I don't have a single complaint with it at all, except for the registration form is not working for some people (me as well). I know this is a very common topic here so I made sure and read as much about it as I could before posting this. So here's my info: - I've had some people tell me it worked (and I got the automated add email), but it's not working for me when I try to test it. I have tried it with FireFox 3.6.10 (turning off ad and popup blockers) as well as IE 8.x and the form continues to do what it does: it's simply refreshing the form to the top of the page when Join is clicked. - I have not adjusted any code in regards to the form. My skin was used back on PHPVMS 1.7 and I've updated to the latest stable release when I reopened on this new host. - I ran the checkinstall and checkdb files, all green/pass. - I tried switching to the default/crystal skin. - I tried removing the extra profile fields. - And lastly, I did contact my host whom responded fairly promptly, telling me it worked for him and that he couldn't tell me what would cause it or why (he doesn't believe it's an issue with his stuff). On our last go around a year or so ago that my friend who was helping and teaching me about PHP at the time coming across this same issue on our old host, and he was able to fix it by doing something, but I asked him about it and he doesn't remember. So I have to ask before I resort to other methods, does anyone have any other suggestions for me to try or happen to have a fix for this? I don't know what percentage of the applicants trying it are getting the issue, but I don't like for any of them to get it. The form is http://texair.a60.us...hp/registration I'll add that I tried the Flight Report form as well as the ACARS systems, all of that works fine. May or may not be related, just occurred to me that if one form doesn't work, the other might not, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
  8. At long last we finally found a reliable host for TexAir, and we're back in the skies! We had some issues finding a descent host and disappeared a few times prematurely. But I am glad to say that TexAir has resumed operations and is looking for pilots and staff to help with those operations. Pilots We use a multiple flight reporting system for a broader range of pilot options. Use your third party programs like FSAcars, FSPassengers, and FSKeeper, or file the old fashioned way with a web form. We are looking for pilots of all experience levels. We'll transfer 100% of roster or network hours if you have any. Pilots get a v$5000 signing bonus to their account upon acceptance to the roster. We operate from two major fields in central Texas, with four other focus fields across the United States. We operate a large schedule with a diverse fleet: Commuters, regionals, domestics, internationals, and big iron. Staff As we've been away for a while, we're pretty empty on staff and could use the help. Previous experience is preferred or required, see our openings on our website. New staff hires get a v$10000 signing bonus to their pilot account. Currently we need: Scheduling Director Fleet Director Webmaster/Systems Director Events Director 2 Chief Pilots/Hub Directors If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, stop by and check us out. http://texair.co.cc
  9. Thanks, it worked editing it in the admin.
  10. Putting in its ICAO code didn't help, I'll have to try what Nabeel said (now if I could only remember my PW LMAO). I'll update y'all on what happens.
  11. You can't edit it by accessing the table manually from the control panel?
  12. Yes, I can add new airports and edit all the airports with ICAO codes, this is the only one that's stuck.
  13. We just updated to 1.2.700 over the weekend and today when I went to add some airports to the database, I found this at the top of the list: I know I didn't add it nor would anyone who has the access to that. It has no ICAO code and when I try to edit it, it doesn't change anything but does verify the edit. I don't know if this appeared when we did the update or if its a security issue, but I thought I'd check to see what might have caused this. We don't fly there, so I'd like to change it. Why I am unable to edit it is what scares me.
  14. Guys, we had this problem with some of our guys and when I looked at the FS Pax config file compared to other VAs I've flown for, it's not generated the same. Every field needs to be on its own line or it might not read it correctly. The auto-generator is generating them all on one line and it works for Acars but not Pax. Maybe a possible fix for that in an upcoming update? Here's how it generates them: Here's what I told my pilots to do: It's worked for everyone using it so far...
  15. Nabeel, did you get my PM? I haven't heard back from you after I sent it, just checking.
  16. I had to talk to the person who helped me and see if we could remember everything we did, but after some searching we remembered that all we altered was some navigational and image things. He nor I have ever touched the div tags, style sheets, or anything that would effect the functionality.
  17. We're using a modified version of the default skin, so yes.
  18. I have had a few pilots looking for a fix on my forum telling me that 1. The flight schedule can only be viewed in its default format (full listing) in Internet Explorer, and when they try to apply filters it doesn't display anything, just a blank page for each airport they choose, or equipment type, or distance. 2. It's frustrating that for the ones that use Firefox and the filters work but they have to go back and start the search over every time they view a flight. For #1 I opened IE myself and saw the same problem, so I'm wondering if there is a fix to get IE working with the filters on the schedule. I've made it clear that Firefox works better all around, but I can't force all my pilots to use it. And for #2, I see that as more of a "just deal with it" thing because it hasn't bothered me too much personally, but I figured I'd throw it in as well to see if there's a way to fix it too. Any help on these subjects would be much appreciated. Thanks.
