In the admin panel, under Pilot Reports(Pireps), when you edit a pirep it says "Enter as hours - "5:30" is five hours and thirty minutes" as an example. But it seems that you DO NOT use a " : " there at all. Seeing as the database uses a colon. Just thought I would bring it up, because if you were to use a colon and then you went into edit it again, it would have a comma.

Ok, so Xacars is a better option then?! I used it before, but it kept crashing my FSX.

I took a peek at "http://citybird-va.ccvagroup.org/index.php/acars" and their a/c shows a correct direction. Any ideas?

Ok, I can NEVER see any change to direction to the icon. It always points SSE it seems. I have seen other sites show a different direction, so I assume I must be missing something here?!!?

The co-ordinates seem fine. Before when I set it to a default of "0", it calculated everything fine. Not sure why it isn't now?! Unless I need to reset something in the admin menu?! I imported the schedule as I normally would. Everything is the same as it has always been, just using the newest version. Is anyone else having this happen to their calculated distance?!

The schedule "calculate distance" thing in the admin section does not seem to auto calculate. I still have things set to "0" for auto calculate, but not working. So all my flights show a distance of "0 mi". What have I missed??

V2.0.840 When I select "View my Badge", it shows wrong country. In the pilot listing it is fine. In the profile it is correct. But like I said, when I "View my Badge", it is an American flag, when it should be Canadian?!

Well.......I moved stuff to a different folder on my server, than did an update from old location to new one etc. etc. I thought as I ws doing it I should have done it a bit differently, but I am having fun messing around. I have one of my 3 site running with PHPVMS and will finish with my 2nd this week. After that is done I will complete my 3rd conversion. The first 2 were just learning the new system. All in all. I LOVE phpvms!!! Just takes a bit to get used to a new way(better way) of running a VA. Thanks for everything!!!

Nabeel.....I tried all that. I am not a total idiot I think I did something on the update when I moved stuff to a different folder......never mind, long story. I plan to do a full install to rectify it. I figured I would have to anyway. Was cutting some corners. That will teach me. Thanks though.

That worked for the password, bvut when I try to go to admin....it says "Unauthorized access".

Version 839. The email is right. It did not work for other user either on requesting password. Not sure what happened.

For some reason, it doesn't send anything?! So I think something got screwed up somehow. Not sure why or how, but I am sure I am to blame somehow

On ONE of my sites, I can't login for some reason and therefore can't do admin duties. I checked the database and it seems fine. Is there a way to change my password through the database? Or will an update fix it? Or do I need to re-install from scratch?

Also, is it possible to have ranks based on hours AND number of flights??

I did the transfer hours thing and put the number of flights in to match when I added old data to the new. One thing I would have liked it to do was show the correct rank as per the transfer hours?! Is there a way to make it adjust for transfer hours so it shows the correct rank??

I am using the "Transfer Hours" part of the admin menu and also wanted to add the number of flights(Total Flights) from the OLD data. My question is.....will that screw anything up at all?? I know this area would match up with new logged flights. I guess I just want to be sure that adding flights to the "Total Flights" for a pilot and adding the "Transfer Hours" won't confuse the program or database in any way. Otherwise I will only add the "Transfer Hours". Do you understand what I am getting at or am I just rambling.

But correct me if I am wrong, but......any of those programs can produce a pirep for the VA, but the live map has to be done throught FS Acars??!

Also, can an option be added on the pilots page to show where they currently are?? Our VA requires you to depart from the airport you last landed at. for us, it would need to show where the pilot is currently, so they can continue on. If someone is away for a few weeks, they might forget.

Ok, so just so I fully understand.... Does PHPVMS take data from either FSAcars, XAcars, FSPax or FS Flight Keeper and update the pirep database then??? The way my old site ran was that I HAD to use FS Acars to log pireps and FSPax was an additional thing, just for a separate database. I always wished it could take the data from either program.

One other thing.....can you add the flight time in the flight info listing of the schedule. With different time zones etc., it would be nice to show the proposed time of flight. Bruce

Some pilots like to plan ahead to when they will fly next. I will add something to show the full schedule for planning trips ahead. They just won't be able to bid until the actual day of flight. This isn't already coded somewhere is it? Bruce
