Well, that makes sense then. Duh.. Sorry, I wasn't grasping a good concept there. Thanks. Bruce

No they are not. They are on different days with different aircraft. Bruce

http://www.canadianclassicairlines.com/phpvms/index.php/schedules/view Try searching for CYYC for example. Only one shows up, but the database has eight flights out of CYYC. All are enabled in the database.
-
Any idea why it doesn't list all the flights by the arrival airport on an initial search?! If it finds one, I can't see why it wouldn't find the other 3 or 4 or whatever there is. BTW, I assume you ant this kind of stuff posted in the report bugs here section, or no!?? Bruce
-
When I said "search by "arrival airport", it brings up flights that don't match the airport requested.", that was AFTER I did a search by distance then right after did a search by arrival airport. It is like the cache didn't clear from the previous search, if that helps. Bruce

For some reason, when I look at the flight schedules, it doesn't show all of the ones it should. For instance, if I select a departure airport on mine, only one flight comes up. But in the Admin menu and in the database there are several for that airport. They are enabled and everything looks fine for the database, but for some reason, they are not listing properly?!? Also, I just noticed when I search by "arrival airport", it brings up flights that don't match the airport requested. Bruce

Using Build 821.......When updating your personal data, the Avatar does not update and the Country flag has disapeared. ??? Bruce

Sorry if this was asked already, but.....Can you change a pilot id in the actual database manually, to reflect wht they used to be on our old website, or is hard coded once someone joins? Bruce
-
I believe that FS Acars only goes up to 32000 lbs or something to that effect. So for a long flight it maxes out every time and does not get the tue read of the fuel used. I will find out that exact number when I get home from work. Bruce
-
So what file is that located in.....sorry, I guess I need to be talked to like I am two. I should know, but I am having a brain cramp. Bruce
-
Does the aircraft icon show the direction in FS Acars, or is that a future function? Mine shows the same icon direction. but I see there are different icons for every possible direction. Am I missing something?? (probably am ) Bruce
-
Ah, ok. I don't fully understand why, but that doesn't matter I will use the -1 or -2 method. Thanks for the info. Bruce

Ok, but to replicate an actual "historical" schedule, the flight numbers can be the same. Without the ability to have legs, this is not possible to import through the admin menu of phpvms. Now I can alter the database manually by adding the flight and entering the legs there. It will take a little more time, is all. Just wondering why this was taken out of the import schedule function?! It would seem to be useful to have it there?! Bruce
-
I imported a schedule to my phpvms and it indicated "....updated 231, for a total of 231". I checked the database manually, not through phpvms, and it showed only 64 flights?!?? Now some of these flights are differnet legs with the same flight number. But the template does not show legs. Is this the problem? Bruce
-
That would be good, thanks. Bruce
-
Like the schedules; is there a way to import pilot reports from my old site to keep the stats accurate? Bruce
-
Oh ok.....so, the stats all get added up as one big company then(so to speak), or do they get listed by separate airline or both? Bruce
-
Sorry Nabeel....I should have put a in there somewhere. Anyways, I will figure out what works best for me inn regard to idents.....everything is very new to me in phpvms. What I am trying to accomplish, is this.... I have 3 airlines I have sites for right now. They are based around the existence of CP Air. CP Air is one, with Eastern Provincial Airways and Wardair being the other ones. It is sort of airlines that were 'associated' with CP Air is what I am creating VA's for, under one umbrella. The 3 sites are: http://www.canadianclassicairlines.com/ http://www.canadianclassicairlines.com/EPA http://www.canadianclassicairlines.com/WDA Now, what I would like to be able to do, is have people join the one they want, or all 3 if they choose. The one potential problem, is that....CP Air VA has a 'classic' fleet and schedule and a 'modern' one; so they almost seem to need to become 2 separate VA's to make it work(not sure). But obviously, I would like to have stats represent only one CP Air, one Eastern Provincial and one Wardair. Now under the registration, they can select which VA to join which is fine. But when I tried to join one of the other ones, using the same user, it says email can't be used again. So is there a way around that? I will have many questions going forward, and my multiple VA's under one roof type scenario will not make this an easy one, I think. Thanks for all your help and this program of yours has some amazing potential.......I just wish I had kept my setup it to one VA. Bruce
-
Ok then. I will assume that there is not a workaround to this and I would have to create 2 different airlines then!? One Classic and one modern. I will do that. Bruce

I am in the EARLY stages of trying to convert my site over to phpvms. It is based on a defunct 'real' airline......CP Air. I have schedules for both real and fictional. Kind of a Realistic one from the past and a fictional modern one that never existed. The schedule does NOT let me have the same ident for different aircraft. I know that makes total sense, but the modern fleet has some idents the same as the old fleet and I have no plans to repaint aircraft Is there any way to make that work somehow? For now I just have to list the ident for the second aircarft as C-FBCP(2) or something to that effect. Which is fine with me if I have to do it that way, was just wondering if there was a different way around it. Thanks. Bruce

Yeah, I just started using this program. I have a ways to go to convert my site over to this, but it is very nice. I will have to donate soon. It seems worth money to me. Good job! Bruce
