Ok that's great. Thanks a bunch guys

When creating a schedule, if I enter in my airports from the drop down the hit the calculate link, I get the following return in the field box. <br /> <b>Warning</b>: call_user_method_array() [<a href='function.call-user-method-array'>function.call-user-method-array</a>]: Unable to call calculatedistance() in <b>/home/paranorm/public_html/phpVMS/core/classes/MainController.class.php</b> on line <b>274</b><br /> I just updated to a beta version a few days ago. Prior to that it worked. If I leave the field 0, it calculates like it should. Version 1.2.775

So basically this means that the pilot is free to fly what they want and where they want? I'm guessing you just make up a bogus Ticket price to cover the fuel cost & etc? THis is kind of what a bunch of potential pilots are asking for to as well. They like schedules, but some freedom from time to time is nice as well. Great idea you have here.

I have a quick question. Not really support or bug related...I do not think at least so I enquire in general. If a pilot transfers say 50 hours of time to the VA, does that effect his/her rank too? Or does it just give time credit per profile and NOT count towards rank?

I had the same exact problem and I am using Beta. 1 thing you can do when filling in your data in FSACRAS is to make sure that Regist and Callsign are the same exact entry. That is very important. If not, No activity will show up on the live map. Once I figured that out by watching the video, all is well now. Sorry fellas. I'll shut back up now.

I for the life of me can not get my head around this module thing. I can get stuff to show up on site, that part I have figured out. If some one would let me nix their stats module that would be great. Then I can figure out how it all works. If not that's ok too. I will keep trying. Thanks, Ray

No probs. Any time

Oh ok that's cool. Am giving the Beta a good ol fashioned test run and that's jut one of the minor things I noticed.
-
Well Nabeel, I have not tried it since I updated from full to Beta last night. I'll give it a go here in a little bit and so if it works or not. Hopefully it does. ;D

Not a problem. Glad I found it. Have to use the default theme until I can get one made for me. I'm not so good at graphics so default for me will have to do for now, So I figured out the fix

I do not think this is working yet correct? Have logged in many times, and it never shows a number of users recently online. it always says 0.

Yeah that looks great Cableguy. Nice job!

A couple guys in my VA are helping me test out as I build and we talked about the very same thing. Believe it or not, we do have a cessna 182 RG that we would love to have a few different ones of in the system for sight seeing and such around the KC and St Louis area. As it stands now, we can only use one so I have had to get a quick cessna in the system for now. Hopefully this feature can be added soon to allow multiple of the same with different reg numbers.

Figured it out. Duhhh! Can't believe I missed this on my first look. Code is currently as posted in my first post. it should actually be <a href="<?php echo SITE_URL?>/index.php/pireps/new">File a New PIREP</a> | <a href="<?php echo SITE_URL?>/index.php/schedules/bids">View My Bids</a> | <a href="<?php echo SITE_URL?>/index.php/profile/">View Pilot Center</a> You forgot the echo in the links ;D

Just upgraded to Beta a little bit ago and When I click on the links uptop under the Pilot avatar in the header section ( File Pirep View My Bids View Pilot Center ), it is not going to the directory of my phpVMS install. It shows in the code <a href="<?php SITE_URL?>/index.php/pireps/new">File a New PIREP</a> | <a href="<?php SITE_URL?>/index.php/schedules/bids">View My Bids</a> | <a href="<?php SITE_URL?>/index.php/profile/">View Pilot Center</a> Now I searched that against core_navigation and the code is the same for links. It works in nav and all other links, but not in the header. By clicking these links it takes me to the root of my domain wich is a totally different website than my phpVMS install. So in other words, my install is in a directory all of its own. When I click on file a new Pirep, it goes to http://paranormalinsights.com/index.php/pireps/new instead of going to http://paranormalinsights.com/phpVMS/index.php/profile Any ideas? i do like the new look of Crystal though

Looks like Joomla now. That skin was awesome too. I only wished I had one as clean as that one was.

I just updated to the Beta as suggested in a previous post we were chatting in, and I recalculated everything and now my fuel is back where it should be for the month. Great job!
-
Ok sounds good. Will go and do that right now. Thanks again Nabeel
-
Yeah, I need to give a big thanks as well. So far I love this script. I'm slowly but surely getting used to it and figuring it all out. A million questions later you will be good and tired of me I'm sure. BUT In the process of asking all those questions, I have tossed this link out to quite the number of people I know running or thinking of running a VA. Great job man!

Ok do I hang tight on this one and wait for a new release? I see daily you fix things up in the threads up top, but not sure what all that means and if we are to get files and update our installs or not. :-[
-
The same exact thing happened to me today. I recalculated and my fuel expenses for the month just went back to $0.00
-
Yeah thats what I was thinking. My phpBB tables prefix is default anyhow. I went ahead and imported the DB and all went good. Thanks.

Ok I have looked at us 3 pilots who are doing the testing and total all of our pilot pay is $133.80 that's at $10.00 for trainee. I took my total hours wich is 9.46x$10.00 and that is $94.60 In my profile it shows I have $157.67 My first flight I did for the airline, I flew 7.22 hours and that is x $10.00/hour and when I viewed my profile after the very first flight, it actually paid me like 94$ I checked the database, and in fact all 3 pilots pay is wrong. Does it give credit for anything at all like night flights, pax carried or anything? Or do we have a bonefied bug? By looking at it, my pilot pay alone is more than all 3 of us pilots combined have actually made in flights.

This is a stupid question but I would rather be safe then sorry. I am ready to integrate my forum into the database with phpVMS. So I create my forum folder inside phpVMS and its as good as that? .And obviously toss a link in core_nav. I am going to export my current database and insert the info into my phpVMS database. There are not any tables that will clash are there that we know of? I ask because I am going to try the auto registration script that is in the addons as well.
