  1. Not random ^ haha, but you gotta here us out Taylor, first... Stick to a VA, I would pick if you wanna do Virgin, or US Airways, you will not be able to handle two at a time..
  2. Sick, was just wondering cause the domain was AALvirtual not USairways , might have led a few pilots to think they were on the wrong site, glad to see your putting forward efforts to prevent confusion
  3. Btw... Did u just change ur VA's name to US Airways and decided to keep all the pilots and everything? Thats something that would make me quit if I was a pilot because of the fact that I signed up for an AA, not a US Airways
  4. No really.. I think everyone just wants to say, please leave.
  5. Hey everyone, Me and a few friends from the ZJX and ZLA ARTCCs on VATSIM are considering to start flyeskimo.com. We will be basing our operations on Alaska Airlines and Era Alaska and their respective partners. I personally will be running the Era Alaska Division, and another member shall be running the Alaska Airlines Division. Era Alaska The Era Alaska airline division will be focusing on small bush flying and charter flights. We are currently configuring the website with PHPvms to auto generate charter flights every week. Pilots will be able to fly these flights with the actual Era Alaska aircraft which include the B1900, C208 and Beech King Air. Alaska Airlines The Alaska Airlines division will be focusing on the full day to day operations of Alaska Airlines. We will be operating all the real routes that are served by Alaska. Alaska Airlines currently flies variations of the 737 primarily around the west coast. We are currently looking for individuals to occupy our staff positions. We are currently hiring an Events Coordinator, Human Resources and Vice President of Operations for Alaska, and Vice President of Operations for Era Alaska. Please email support@aavirtual.net to receive more information about the positions. The Virtual Airline expects to open mid-may and may even have the "blessing" of both airlines. We are currently talking with them about partnerships, if all goes well Alaska and Era may be affiliated with our organization.
  6. Haha this announcement was kinda asking for it though... There hasnt been a Virgin America starting announcement in a while, and right after one comes this one, at least wait one post inbetween haha.... GL to the both of you.
  7. EasyJet and JetBlue should become buddies. They both are on complete locks in the virtual world.
  8. I agree with his point. You need to make your VA VERY unique if you want to attract loads of pilots, otherwise why shouldnt people go to the other Delta.
  9. Haha thanks for the site feedback! We just deleted over 100 hahaha, and dropped the limit down to 250, we sent out ane mail to pilots and most responded saying that they would like to see something like this happen interestingly enough. We have decided to give it one month to see how it works, if pilots both new and old enjoy it than we will be keeping the policy
  10. AAvirtual has decided to start limiting registrations. We will now only allow up to 350 pilots to join our ranks. Upon registering you are given a random code which can be used to track your application. The staff and I were wondering what you guys think of something like this? Is it a bit to much or is it more or less reasonable in order for organization, etc.? AAvirtual.net is the website URL. Ada
  11. Lufthansa does not allow VAs to be run under its name, infact I can give you the C and D document they sent me last year. With lots of talks with them I was able to keep my Lufthansa "BASED" VA still running, D1virtual.com. Right now Lufthansa isnt allowing anyone to use its name because it is afraid that clients of theirs will mix up the VA website with the real one.
  12. Its not shut down because its not considered a VA cause no one flies for them haha
  13. Lets please not start this here, take it to PM.
  14. Must agree with both of you, hadn't thought about the spring break affect
  15. I am wondering if its just my VAs but have any of you noticed a trend this week with a lot less flights?
  16. Shoot me an email at aerzurumlu@aavirtual.net, I havent done repaints in a while but I am sure I can do these for you
  17. Call their phone number, get their headquarters phone number and then call that. Once you call that just ask for the legal department, once they give youthem explain what a VA is, and what you want to do, then show them other airlines that have VAs and prove to them that its a good thing. Then your gonna have to talk to them for a bit, then if all goes well they will email you something. For the rest of you saying to start a fictional VA, that is fun however its not really for everyone, others prefer real world airlines.
  18. Thats pretty interesting, I wonder if American Airlines might be willing to do such with my VA, we have a few members that work at AA's headquarters and maintenance hangers at JFK
  19. Nice sounds good, Any opinions on our new promo video? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vfXE_-x06sw&feature=youtube_gdata
  20. Dark blue works for me as long as its not also a file taken from AAvirtual.net or any other VA website...
  21. Its from that site however its not the same blue as the blue I created.... You just obviously took that blue from my website cause its a bmp image and I messed up on it and never fixed... unless you made the very same mistake with the very same colors with the very same section... My apologies on the Brett Lowe however, It just looked a bit like it layout wise, im gonna take your word for it..
  22. Your nav bar from AALvirtual.net is the same one from my old AAvirtual.net... its obvious because I messed up photoshoping the navbar and left a thin blue line..... Please dont steal my friend.. And the AALvirtual skin wasnt created by you, it was Brett Lowes, you just edited it heavily..
